@@OzMechanics my car opel astra 1.6 16v in the morning crank but does not turn on and when I try to turn on the engine light it does like a flash I turn on the car in second gear and turn it down and when it starts once it starts normally and when I drive and press the accelerator the car there is no power suffocates and I have to press the gas slowly I had lit what I prefer to control
Im having the same problem despite the fact the mechanic changed the distributor for a new one...so idk what the hell that mechanic did to make it work for a week and half before my car went back to crank/no start situation again..do you know what could've happened? also sometimes my car starts like..it cranks and starts normally however later on it'll crank and wont start once again.
might have an issue with a module or a wire that might be shorting out. with the same oscilloscope i have on the video your mechanic can keep checking the system till it shuts down then he can see which part is going bad. plus i have had bad luck with aftermarket parts. if possible try getting an oem distrubuter

Bro I stay in league city right down the street from Pasadena, I watch your vids all the time. Could you come out if I payed you and help me diagnose my car? It won’t start. It was intermittent starting but now it won’t start at all. The fuel pressure was intermittent until I changed the pump, regulator and relay. Now it’s getting no pressure at all. It Only starts when I spray starter fluid in the intake so that cancels out the spark. I’ve changed the fuel pump twice, fuel pressure regulator, crankshaft sensor twice, fuel pump relay, checked the volts at the crank and cam sensor wiring and they are good, changed the fuel filter, spliced the ignition wiring harness since they were bare and replaced the connector and then checked the volts going to the ignition coil wiring harness and they are good, did a voltage drop test on the fuel pump wiring but I don’t think I did it right..idk mann ... I’ve watched videos on videos on videos and nothing seems to be adding up..this is a challenge for me.. you can come by and ill pay and get us food 😂 I would bring it to your shop but it won’t even start up to get it there. You could even make a vid cause I’m sure there are some people out there who have this issue and have done all this diagnosis that I’ve done and still can’t seem to figure it out ✊✊✊
Cool video I have a 1990 honda civic lx sedan with a modified d15b motor 1.5L 4 4cyl. Dual port fuel injection blueprinted balanced honed shaved commuter speed tuned but with all new fuel system cooling system and electrical including ecu. And relays but 6 months down the line I have a no crank no start no power and the battery is a New gold duralast mind boggled at this point father in law said it was the starter but didn't fix this problem
I have a 94 corolla 1.8 same stuff cranks but doesnt start changed cap and rotor but no luck gonna change the coil next hopefully thats it aswell thanks for the vid
O yea one issue noticed before this happened was a rev limit issue wouldn't go past 3200rpm or past 75mph ran strong tho no motor issues other than eating lots of fuel. Gas mileage sucked big time but expected on a mod motor lol

First of all, what's the name of your scan tool and what is the price for that scan tool? it makes the diagnostic procedures so much easier. Thanks for showing the elaborated diagnostic procedures. On the other hand, why replace the whole distributor, if all the components are good, except the "ignition coil "?
First of all, the name of the scan tool is located on the scan tool if you watch the video. Use google to find the price. And it is better to replace the whole distributor, because the other components will likely fail soon anyway, even if it has to be a junk yard distributor. At least with the junk yard part chances are that it has lower mileage on the it, plus everything inside the distributor has a short warranty from the junk yard, in case anything fails soon after installation.
06 v6 Mustang cranks no start. Does kinda run rough occasionally for a few seconds and quits. Fuel pump and filter changed. Has spark and reset inertia switch. Any ideas?
dorne could be timing belt or chain. It happened to me...2004 dodge stratus 2.4...would start, it would run but shake really bad and then shut off...the timing belt was a tooth off
So can this be the problem to my car but the thing is I was driving and it shut off. Then tried to start it crank but won't start I have a 98 Honda Civic it's not getting any spark

I have a Nissan sentra 2002 wont crank. Put in any OBDII and it will start and run
Sounds like a ground issue. Pin 4 & 5 on the DLC get connected when you connect a scan tool.
Mine is the opposite. Spark no fuel.

that's the crankshaft position sensor serpentine belt phrase the wires are cut it off

in my civic 96 i was told that the master coil may the the problem or the icm computer same problems as yours
noelg0930 Get a Actron CP9690 code tester before replacing parts. It checks record, live, IM test, and MORE!
