Thanks for sharing because I just ordered Soutache braiding cords in different colors which I want to use for my Vintage garments but did not know how to use it with my sewing machine. I rather use the zigzag stitch to really secure the Soutache and get rid of the raw edges. great video
Thank you Myrna 😊. This is an easy way to add couching without having to use a special foot. I am sure you will have a lot of fun creating designs on your projects using this method. It's a great way to use up scraps of wool as well.
Thank you so much!! I’m working on a huge costume project and wanted to know if it was possible to do a clean couching stitch without a couching foot!! Very very helpful
It is pleasing to be able to play-practice with ordinary yarns for embellishing without having to purchase a special foot beforehand or damaging my machine, Thanks!
THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH. I WAS WATCHING IT'S SEE EAST ON TV THIS MORNING, THEY DID THIS THING CALLED COUCHING . Well you know me I went to TH-cam and here we are. Could we use our free motion quilt foot, and do this free motion with feed dogs down and moving the fabric around? Or would we need a special Couching Foot to do the free m otion couching?

Вторую тесьму можно еще поворачивать то влево , то вправо. Не только чтоб бахрома была в лево, в одну сторону.

You can do this but you would need a free motion couching foot. Not sure if you can do it without one.
