I completely agree with Rangitaranga and Vikrant Rona. .. infact Rangitaranga itself is inspired from an old DD TV series in kannada "Guddada Bhootha" meaning the ghost of the hills. Though not frame to frame, Rangitatanga takes the idea of using a folk dancer as a background to portray a ghost and RT also has a song which is the title track of the TV series i mentioned above.
It’s not inspired. IT IS THE STORY. Rangitaranga is the same story with more routed story telling. And Vikrant Rona is an average flick with overhyped promotions. It’s jst Rangitaranga with big budget
