You're right, hopping from world to world to buy nature runes, or law runes is not fun, and it is definitely not gameplay. It's just something I have to do if I want to do anything else at all
I wouldn’t mind if the irons make millions of blood runes and drop trade them over and sell them on ge so blood prices would be cheaper.
@schmakyle649 still wouldn't effect the prices really. It costs so much to make them. It'd be more worth to someone's main to use that gp to buy something like monkey nuts and drop trade them instead

If you want white rune stacks, do gotr first. It prints runes. Then do the scared ess mine after completing gotr

Unless it changed, pretty sure jmods said that the rc outfit only counts for extra runes for the essence you are using. so you'll get 1.6x the 53 wrath runes, not from the extra from extracts.
So when you made 1912 Wrath runes, if you had the outfit, you'd get 1943 instead (31 more)

Buying runes is awful because you’re depending on other players not also buying runes at the same time as you and considering you rotate through like 30 worlds, you are gonna have a rough time doing that. People are acting like there’s an npc that gives you rare drops for market price. The challenge of Ironman is having to get 85 and 87 slayer to use a whip and trident, to have to grind thousands of barrows for a single set etc etc. the “buying runes grind” isn’t a thing. This update is well within the spirit of Ironman.

He doesnt run dry on water runes at muspah, i cant fathom a world where you would ever run dry on water doing muspah lol you freeze him like 3 timse a kill. Unless hes doing thousands, i have no idea whta he thinks hes doing lol.

How does it compare to just buying runes from the shop? I mean, is xp per hour even affected here?
I know its good for wrath runes since you cant buy them, but what about bloods, deaths, nats etc. Also yeah I know in the video you said shops save money, but is it enough saved to make it worth it? It seems like this might be more useful for late game ironmen that want that quick rune stack refill

Only worth doing if you have gp to burn and need a crap ton of runes.
It's much faster than shops, gp efficiency depends on how much runes you buy per world but bloods and laws are always cheaper than shops
I believe that it’s a lot cheaper to buy from the shops, the prices per blood wrath and soul were 400GP per rune , maybe it’s ok for the lower level ones like air, water ect. And Np for the video my friend
I notice that muds are selling for ~110, so maybe profitable to make twisted essence. I don’t have DT 2 started to test that idea though.

To the people concerned about people flooding the blood rune market - Blood runes are already sitting at their bottom price - Any lower and it'll be more cost effective to alch them.
Plus; Scar runecrafting is not cheap by any stretch of the imagination.
I'm personally hyped for this and finally feel like getting to Wrath Runecrafting is worthwhile for my UIM - Getting to 90-95 (+5 boosting) will be incredibly nice for my goal of getting 99 prayer ASAP.

While irons like me appreciate all the QoL updates, because some of the processes irons go through are honestly ridiculous for us working folk, I do understand mains frustrations. Irons do get a lot of updates but stuff like guardians of the rift was a neat update for everybody. I don't envy the devs who try to find the balance for everyone
This was a really nice quality of life update for a large portion of the player base that took a negligible amount of dev time to put in the game, simmer down okay it's not that bad

Dude all these runes were buyable from shops for ironmen already (except wraths). This makes them slightly faster to get at a higher cost. Calling this easy-scape is genuinely braindead behaviour

@@NoHelpOSRS Totally agreed man. I have been playing RuneScape since my childhood, when g.e came out it was the first time I felt truly bored with the game. Why achieve anything when you can just buy it? So many fake ego toxic kids joined the game around that time.
I’ve just come back after a hiatus of around 5 years, been on my first ever Ironman account one month and feel so INVIGORATED for the first time in over a decade with the game. It truly feels like I am forced to achieve something again, like I actually have to farm for things again and put time investment into it.
Got my first ever void set because I actually need it, got my first ever dragon defender because I actually need it and both feel like an actual victory for my account.

i used to respect it when i see a high level ironman... but with all these updates you are pretty much playing a main. im sure there are many others like me who are losing a lot of respect for ironmen because of these updates.
