Robert, I have been riding for 26 years. I took the Motorcycle Safety Foundation course at the Hollywood Greyhound Track in Hollywood, Florida when I bought my first bike in 1999, and learned quite a bit about riding and turning at low speed that I have used throughout the years. Your videos are great and reinforce everything I learned in that course over a quarter of a century ago. Thank you for putting out these videos to help make people better riders so they can enjoy this great sport even more.
going to be having my first motorcycle lesson soon (at the tender age of 52). Gonna be hearing your voice while in the class. Already consider myself a preloader (level 0). 😂

Thank you for taking the time today and chatting with me and my friends about slow riding. Appreciate everything you do on TH-cam and hope to join you in a training session someday.
Thank you for sharing. I have learned so much from you and others... I ride an Indian Roadmaster, but the biggest bike I rode before the Indian was a Honda Magna 750. Learning about the friction point on the clutch, keeping the throttle steady but not too much and keeping my foot light on the rear brake has made all the difference when riding a bike such as the Roadmaster. When I stop, I rarely if ever put my right foot on the ground, because the rear brake, clutch and throttle are such an important element in safe stopping and starting. Thanks so much. I notice that the majority of the riders in the club I ride with put both feet on the ground when stopping... but I notice the professional experienced riders almost never put the right foot down unless there is an uneven surface or they have a passenger on board. It feels so good to be more professional in my riding... and it is all about technique, technique, technique!

Big Hello from Brazil. I really enjoy your videos, and I try to practice your techniques in my very modest Meteor 350. It is night and day from what we are taught in motorcycle training here. I got my motorcycle license and I was sure I could not ride, and then I got to TH-cam and found some great videos like yours. I still have to find a free space to practice more, but I already feel much more confident using the motorcycle at low speeds. Thank you for the great videos!

Thanks Robert, that was very clear and concise. I love your videos. It's been about 15 years since I rode a motorcycle because I had a herniated disc, but I've finally gotten a kawasaki vulcan 1500. I watched your videos and learned how to handle it low speed to a basic extent and I'm not afraid of it falling over. I've even ridden through an unexpected patch of mud on a gravel road and remembered to give it gas when it got squirrely and was able to straighten it back up no problem. But, my question is, what would you say to a returning rider that has ridden the roads for several hours but is anxious about riding the interstate? How do you get over THAT fear?
