    I wish we had a place to run our stuff. All LHS and tracks are gone. Last time I checked my buggy, it was fine but sucks not being able to run it. TKI3/Nova powered. I miss the smell and sweet sound she makes. :(

    Great vid Adam. Ok so shock boots, this is one thing that confuses me. We are told to maintain them and replace if they get holes or tears. But we have also been told to put holes in the boots to eliminate the air trapped in them from being sealed so well. Which obviously will allow the air to not build up and affect Shock performance, but will in fact allow dirt to get in. Hence my confusion.

    • @socwyvern9745
      @socwyvern9745 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Don’t use them they’re extra weight, use a mud flap made of lexan it’s les weight and just ricochets dirt buildup away from your shocks.

      First thing I do when I build a new kit is toss the shock boots in the trash. Dirt sprint cars don't run them so I don't run them. I hate them! Lol

    You have probably never had anyone say this, but prolong engine/transmission treatment works for rc cars! Its all the same thing really, I've had folks laugh at me about it. I personally had an 81 camaro(12.33 @117mph in the 1/4} that lost an oil pump pick up, I still had to go to work for almost two months with bouncing oil pressure, no damage, the bearings looked new when I finally repaired it. I break shit in, then add prolong, it pretty much stops wear, but you need some wear, thats why you can't do it right away. I've used it after doing some shady pinch jobs on nitro engines, and they last quite a while!

    Hi Adam, awesome video again! I see you have the narrow C and D blocks on the car. Do you have an idea when they will be for sale? I'd love to try them on one of the super low traction tracks in my neighbourhood.

    Hey adam great video. I plan on rebuilding my differentials, what grease should I use outside the differential case?

    • @AdamDrake
      @AdamDrake 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use the protek white grease on the ring and pinion and Mugen grease on the outdrive/diff cups.
