I’m not very agree with this, it’s too fast I have to put the speed of the video at 0.25 to see good the soldering. I know there is the schematics but with the real soldering there are a few things more understandable. But anyway, very good video
¡Excelente video! Muchas gracias. ¿Dónde puedo colocar el interruptor de alimentación en este circuito? Food Switch ....Excellent video! Thank you so much. Where can I place the power switch in this circuit? Food Switch
This doesn't seem to work for a bass guitar. I followed the instructions exactly but it cuts my volume in half and doesn't alter the sound. Any help would be appreciated
i think this is a bazz fuss circuit. there are other videos with more explanations on it from the channel diyguitarpedals, search for 7 minute fuzz. You can probably get it working better with different resistance and capacitance values
Greetings!! Iwas wondering if you would have info OR be interested in doing more of these types of videos? Trying to collect at least 10 different and SIMPLE guitar effect DIY projects that can be built out of 'common" or 'salvaged' parts from electronics around the house. Any info would be AMAZING! Genuinely looking for stuff where you just find parts in other electronics or are dirt cheap to buy parts - Wanting to work with them for beginner electronics and friend's kids. CHEERS!
Where might I find some of those "jack sockets;" does anyone have the part# for them from mouser? Do they go by a different name, or is there another term for the female end of that kind of amp cord?
They can be found on amazon and by a handful of sites from searching for 'guitar parts' on bing.com to find sites like www.mammothelectronics.com, ect.
Yoyoyo isn’t this video from a wicked electro-sauced dude named @okaycomputer? Or @okcomputer? I think it was called something fiver? I can’t even watch this whole mini vid knowing it’s stolen brah!
100k resistor
1n4148 diode
2n3909 transistor
100n capacitor
1uf electrolytic capactitor
100k potentiometer
2 jack sockets
9v clip
it´s 2n3904
Thanks, I have no idea why the poster of this video did not list the components, it would have been nice...
Ya hiciste el pedal?@@tomasotreasaigh111
More like a boost pedal then fuzz 👍😎
love how concise and short the video was. most diy pedal tutorials are 15-20 minutes long and harder to sit through

yo what this is my old vid! fudging heck
lol makes sense
Aidan Petersen funny story. This is an account I made and forgot about it. LOL. I was flagging myself. I’m a Dumbassss haha
Best youtube comment ive read all week
if only i could remember the password
or the email address for that matter
I built this for my son and he loves it. Thank you so much!
You are a cool dad
Thanks man, it worked! I'm surprised. I used a BC517 transistor instead, but it still works like a charm and sounds good actually. :)
Im assuming you would place the button in between the hot power source wire, right?
really clean and straight forward video, i love it
omg! I ready made it. I tasted with a jazz bass. This is such amazing and fancy.
Me funciono, sos un genio!
Great video! Finally a project I have all the parts for in my drawer
Look for "offboard wiring pedal" to solder it on a footswitch.
I don't get it, where exactly to connect 2 wires of guitar jack??
¡Excelente video! Muchas gracias. ¿Dónde puedo colocar el interruptor de alimentación en este circuito? Food Switch ....Excellent video! Thank you so much. Where can I place the power switch in this circuit? Food Switch
Creo que soldando el foot switch a los cables que le dan energía haciendo que cuando lo presiones no suenen los cambios. (No estoy seguro al 100%)
i have just made it but mine works as a volume knob only, theres no fuzz sound :((
how would you hook up a foot button? I'm kinda new to all this electronics stuff
It's working so fine, than you so much for the video =)
Can I use BC 547 instead?
Now how would I add the stomp button
it just keeps on buzzing for me and no sound comes out.
Anyone know why?
Hi can I change the diode for a 4004 or a 4007?
AMAZING !!!!!!! Don't know why they charge a fortune for pedals in guitar shops. Brilliant
They charge a fortune because it requires extensive knowledge to design a circuit, put it through testing, refine it, and mass produce it
Also because the metal box is the most expensive bit lol
Make another diy pedal this is awesome
I did it and it works but the output has a huge amount of noise
Treblee Booster?
Thanks for the video, its works !!!!
how can i install a switch (non-footswitch)?
Solder terminal 1 to the positive of the battery clip and solder terminal two of the switch to wherever the battery clip is meant to go
@@jonathanwoodside763 yeah but that way the potentiometer is still working
where is the switch to turning off and on?
the video would be twice longer
Hey man whats up, how can i implement a 4 pin switch button on this circuit?
Or a dpdt switch
Getting clean sound, using acoustic guitar, all connections are right still getting clean
Any solutions somebody
Varun Kavil crank rhe knob? check your connections maybe
Put the guitar in the right jack socket :)
If you turn the knob off does the effect go away or is it always on when plugged in?
Should be always “on”. Knob adjusts gain only- you will have to physically disconnect the battery or install a switch in line with the battery.
Great! Thanks, now do more! 😎
Is this circuit works for bass guitar...
Absolutely cool 🙂🤩👍🏻
Thank god!!!! Over 5 pounds would be heavy!!!
can i ask if what kind of wire you used?
What other value of pot could I use? Any value? Is 100k just for tone or is it a necessity?
Eoghan West i used a 4k lol
Eoghan West but it still works anyway

The cap is too small for bass
It actually works pretty well. At first it didn't work for me because I forgot to connect the audio and input grounds, just double check the schematic
Yes, it works. I made it today and tested. Works on my guitars and with my bass. Maybe you did some mistake when building it.
Greetings!!

CHEERS!
FUNCIONA PERFECTO! Desde argentina
Laura Campanella Que tal suena???
Good job
The only good video about this
I did that... realy great
Y el switch???
Thank you Look mum no computer
lol bazz fuss ?
Not working

wow
please... We wont more videos like this one :D
Doesn’t work
NG
you should at least give credit to the video creator.. Look Mom No Computer is the original
Pedal? No. Switchable for using? No.
Didn't get halfway. The music was killing me.
