I was running something similar to this and had about a 70% win rate, but I definitely had problems with board clear. The sickly/pyro combo is a gamechanger.
God I love watching Chump. He is a perfect specimen. The right amount of humor and poise. Rarely makes mistakes. Ends a game when it has reached it finale. Shows the best meta decks and displays how to utilize them effectively. 10/10 Hearthstone Content Creator

I wish that they had made the cards require EITHER rune to be played so it could be played in both decks still. Hoping they eventually make some death rune cards or even a legendary that turns one of your runes into a death rune for deckbuilding purposes.
Bomb archetypes are so frustrating to play. Your opponent always dodges them until the likelihood of getting a bad draw is astronomically hight, then they drop over dead. There's no happy medium.
I dreamed about Chump! In my dream, he had created a new channel to tell personal stories, but he did so by using HS footage and hand drawn animation (that he drew himself... and looked pretty great!). Now I kinda want that channel to happen.
Never had lord Marrowgar win a game for me. Plague DK does not get a lot of sticky minions so most of the time the opponents just don't spend board clears/aoe silence until I play marrowgar... I find it really overrated.
Love the deck but i have trouble seeing how pyro does work? The spell count seems super low to make it viable. or is it just that hard to deal with wide boards outside of the one creature in pure plague? EDIT: Just saw the poisonous tech. makes more sense now :D

After seeing this video, I realized you only lose Staff of the Primus for going Even with the Plague package. Considering Even Unholy DK was a thing some time, maybe that's a consideration to make? (I tried, but I'm a mediocre deck doctor, and my attempt did not satisfy me so far.)
I really like plague DK, but it's just so... EHHHH. My favourite version uses Boneshredder and Yelling Yodeler. But man, Boneshredder is one horrible card. Understatted, extremely clunky and the rng means I cannot play THE DK card: Chillfallen Baron. Makes the deck noticeably worse than it should be. If plague DK just got something that somehow "ensured" the plagues hitting at some point. I lost way too many games to bad plague RNG. Another thing is that Unholy runes are kind of... the worst fit for Plagues. Both Frost and Blood - especially Blood - have WAAAY better tools for that kind of deck. Unholy has about 2 in total.

I REALLY like Darkfallen Shadow with Grimewalker. The card is decent in the early game as just spot removal, and then gets nuts after turn 6.

There’s no deck it used to be able to fit in that the cards can’t fit in now.
