    so... I have these 2 lp's from 1975. Diego Torres Amaya, or "Dieguito El Del Gastor". Is he the same as Diego De Moron?

    The idea much influence from the U.S. Base is almost totally bull shit. I was close to him from 1964 to 1969. I saw him almost every day his front door was about 3 feet across the hall from mine. On the other hand Donn Pohren worked at the U.S. Base, and used his free time there to write his first book. Donn lived in Sevilla at the time. I believe his work situation brought him physically close to Diego. I lived above Casa Pepe (actually more next door). We would see some one from the base there about twice a year. That's it.
