In ZeroPM piece #20 Romain Figuière, a Doctoral Researcher at the Stockholm University, presents how to combine the essential-use concept with functional substitution to find safer and more sustainable products to #PFAS and other hazardous substances used in products.
Romaine's amazing presentation walks you through the history of both the essential-use concept and how it has been recently integrated with functional substitution. He refers to earlier work with #PMT and #vPvM substances used in cosmetics pubs.rsc.org/e... and also discusses #F-gases.
