this particular M80 squad has been together for a long time, and they have a lot of chemistry for a T2 team they are not slouches. Plus Overpass is a favorite of theirs.
This is by far the best pro CS demo analysis I have ever seen. Analyzed nearly the entire match, highlighted key concepts, and lots of explanations behind all of them. I've already taken many of these concepts and transformed my Open team's CT Overpass. Please make more of these im begging you
the thing about this video compared to like a launders vid is that i occasionally get bored with his demo reviews, here i was interested the whole time
9:30 in voo’s most recent video he said he tested it and HE’s don’t make a sound when they hit someone if they’re wearing armor. I’ve been on a work trip and haven’t had a chance to test it for myself but I thought it was interesting
@@EyeSeeYouuuuu idk that’s the thing lol. But voo says that’s not how it works and even included a clip of him proving it. Says if they’re armored it doesn’t make a sound unless you deal exactly 1 damage. I get back from my work trip tonight and im definitely going to look into this
Great analysis! I'm definitely going to try that lurk smoke on b site in my next overpass game. I've been watching all of your Wicked games lately and it's very fun to follow your journey.
this is so impressive to watch, like when i play mm i'm like "i was there last round so lets go somewhere else this round" but what they're considering in a live setting on a whole team and opponent team basis is just insane
i know these type of videos wont apply to the bread and butter audience... but if youre goal is to really save us as NA's Last Hope. KEEP MAKING BANGERS
the nade doesnt make a sound vs kevlar players, it only does a sound vs unarmored players. he didnt hear them monster he just antid them from the start 09:30
I think in cs in general there is a lot of room for exploration in terms of ct play, I think way too much teams just play "defaultish" ct setups all the time, when there is so much more you can do as a team than just that. When have you seen for example 4 cts in mirage playing b bombsite and 1 just scouting on a on a-site pistol round. I know thats probably I dumb example, but I don't think teams experiment enough with the positions in the ct side, specially in larger maps like overpass.
Austin it would be good if you reviewed the Nuke of this matchup where M80 got recked 13 and 4 or something: analyze what M80 did wrong and what Liquid did right.
truth is it's a 250k tourney which to these pros is nothing, an you have to travel across the world to china for it. all kinda goes down to hunger an drive don't think liquid had either. 250k / 150k = #1 just no reason for these pros to go all out when these prize pools are a dime a dozen in the world of cs. always said beside majors you rarely see teams play at 100%. their banking near half that prize pool a month even when they dont play. they should kill tourneys for about 2 months an put a fat 3-5m prize pool THEN we could watch really great cs. ofc thats only a dream
overpass and inferno are so terrible, bro. it could always been said, okay you can all run out there at the start, but the choke points and the design of the maps just make is such a nuisance. inferno is the worst for me, disregarding the fact we play that since it was a cpl map. the narrow choke point, and the way the sites are taken. you always have a crazy crossfire established mid, coming onto short A, and B. its very limited on what you can do. good teams dont overrotate, if you watch tournaments. often on that level tho you will see recently people do gamble stacks, just like in csgo. firstly how the game is played at the moment, people run out without any risk factor it seems, and the meta has to still be set. they changed the rounds to encourage less saving and more retake attempts without changing the economy. sometimes its an important round, and map, and they save on 3-11 2/3v4. ofc, im not a pro, but i play since more than 15 years myself, and id say i understand the game on a very deep level. but that is the moment you have to go in especially. i played csgo for 10000 hours, and i just dont get how they think they want to change the rounds, and effort the players make to retake, but dont change the things that have to go along with it, to even allow such approaches, and playstyles in the first place.
Love you but casters need to stop using “decimate”. It doesn’t mean what you think it means. It means “killing 1/10”. It comes from the Romans killing 1 out of every 10 prisoners of war.
Just say you dont understand CS already, M-80 really played this one perfectly and could have won anyone in a B01 when they played this good, there is not a single team in CS history who doesn''t have at least a couple maps like this against "no names" no matter if its Faze, Navi or Vitality. Faze lost like 4 times to BNE in big games in fucking BO3's so stfu pls.
the second you start playing csgo for an NA team you turn into a silver LOL!!! the only person i feel bad for is NAF. never seen such a stacked team play like bots.
this particular M80 squad has been together for a long time, and they have a lot of chemistry for a T2 team they are not slouches. Plus Overpass is a favorite of theirs.
too bad they suck on lan

this is genuinely a really interesting watch, more cs esports coverage would be sick :)
the thing about this video compared to like a launders vid is that i occasionally get bored with his demo reviews, here i was interested the whole time
I agree, I learned a ton about overpass in this vid, it was great
9:30 in voo’s most recent video he said he tested it and HE’s don’t make a sound when they hit someone if they’re wearing armor. I’ve been on a work trip and haven’t had a chance to test it for myself but I thought it was interesting
Is that something different with comp? I still hear the sound in casual (everyone has armor).
@@EyeSeeYouuuuu idk that’s the thing lol. But voo says that’s not how it works and even included a clip of him proving it. Says if they’re armored it doesn’t make a sound unless you deal exactly 1 damage. I get back from my work trip tonight and im definitely going to look into this
I've tested it, and voo's conclusion was accurate - enemies with kevlar only make a sound from HEs if the HE only damages armour, and doesn't hit HP.
yeah man ive had this exact thing on vert. dropped a nade on scaffold and didnt get no noise so i cleared it and 2 enemies.
Great analysis! I'm definitely going to try that lurk smoke on b site in my next overpass game.
I've been watching all of your Wicked games lately and it's very fun to follow your journey.
25:00 Why is it useless to do if it disallows CT's a powerful position?
Please do more demo reviews, so much fun with someone really understanding what's going on in the server.
this is so impressive to watch, like when i play mm i'm like "i was there last round so lets go somewhere else this round" but what they're considering in a live setting on a whole team and opponent team basis is just insane
Yesssss to videos like this, super work Austin and thanks for putting in all this effort!!
i know these type of videos wont apply to the bread and butter audience... but if youre goal is to really save us as NA's Last Hope. KEEP MAKING BANGERS
I really enjoy watching these demo vids, maybe you can review a spring group or a major game :D
Very nice commentary, really enjoyed watching it!
yo austin this was a great idea for a vid!! thank you i'd like to see more of these. especially those from tier 1 scene
I love these reviews, keep up the good work
the nade doesnt make a sound vs kevlar players, it only does a sound vs unarmored players. he didnt hear them monster he just antid them from the start 09:30
never be scared to take space for info and also learn how to not take too much space to the point where ur untradeable
I enjoyed this longer style of match breakdown, thanks for this!
Very in depth and a respectful analysis. I enjoyed it

6:44 Explain better? I don't get it.
swishr dropping nades down overpass is huuuge IQ
Yup didn't seen that before, very intelligent play
Loved it. keep up the demo reviews my man 👍🏼
Digging the analysis vids! Keep them coming 🔥
Your main channel link in description is broken
love just letting your commentaries play while i clean.
10:59 yeeeaaaaahhhhhh i dont know about that one
AUSTIN you are READY for MAJOR COMMENTATOR [ new cut hair, new glasses and 1 day i hope see you there 💪]
Hello! Can you do analysis on the Mongolz? I really wanna watch that :)
@austincs Your "Main Channel" link in the description doesn't go anywhere for me, not sure if it's like that for others too.
Blud got a new mic but you can't tell by the ad xD
i think the aggressiveness comes from it being cs2. m80 knows not everyone as comfortable as csgo. so they feel more confident holding shit
Love this type of contact man keep it up
This is the typa shit why I love CS
THIS is Counter-Strike!
Nice Play, think we see something in the next Wicked Overpass game. Austin loves it 😊!
Great content as always! Thx for improving my B hold on op
more demo breakdowns like this please :)
Fantastic thorough analysis.
Amazing analysis Austin! Liquid will be just fine with time :D
Love this format!
Cadian's nades going off
Austin it would be good if you reviewed the Nuke of this matchup where M80 got recked 13 and 4 or something: analyze what M80 did wrong and what Liquid did right.
i have seen yakinder using the crowd to find people trough smoke, he deserved that play
Really impressive by M80, wishin them good luck onwards
This reminds me of 2015 NA trying to compete against EU teams.
Damn who is that handsome devil in the opening clip
Watching this before the rematch to qualify for IEM china
i wouldn't call M80 "nobody" but yeah it was still a big upset!
Wicked wins those
They know, that I know, that they know they know I know
and they know that i know that they know that i know so that means they knew i'd make a video on it
Please make more of these
More demos more demos
what do u think of the clips suggesting m80 players using walls?
brain rot

Liquid coping with the tech pauses
Cadian went wrong thats what happened! + Liquid played like they didnt care much!
liquid should have trained, instead they hugged eachother
love these vids :)

All I can say is, it’s just 1 match!
I think M80 did a good job, but liquid did not play well. Classic liquid. I hate being a liquid fan
M80 spanked Liquid again in a bo3 LOL

Yes, that is the etymology of the word. But over 2000 years it has evolved like many other words and means something else now
Nope. People just got used to it being misused. It hasn't changed meaning whatsoever.@@lucasmcnamee3658

Why? I thought as far as orgs go, they’re pretty good.

what?😂
@@HansFlamme Bro went from top 2 team in the world to losing to nonames in qualifiers lol. Not entirely his fault but it does suck.
@theodorebagwell420 Every top player and team has lost some BO1s to teams they should beat. They still qualified 3-1 by the end
WTF kekw😄😄???? They have won 12 games and lost just 1... even the best slip up sometimes
