Sweetness if everyone in need took your pep talk to heart they have given themselves a wonderful start on a positive new year. You made perfectly good sense and truly there seems to be an enournmous shortage of that these days. I am glad you are feeling better. I have been struggling with some rather serious health issues but things are really beginning to brighten up giving me a whole new appreciation of how I had been taking my health for granted. Now every healthy day is much enjoyed. Big hug❤s
Pleased you're ok sweetheart 👍🏻😃🤗🥰🥰 I had the all clear on my Mammogram 👏🏻😃 I could listen or talk to you for hours Ant. You talk so much sense and don't sugarcoat things. Your felt work looks great 👏🏻👍🏻😃 Maybe you'll show us it when you have finished it 🤞🏻😃
Loved the pep talk! I haven't tried needle felting before but you have made me want to try it. Looks very relaxing (other than poking yourself with a needle). Thanks for another great video!
I totally needed that pep talk today! I work with a real shit head and today was horrible!! You always make me laugh. The world needs more people like you in it ❤.
20 years ago I was diagnosed with what the doctor said was a disease that terminal patients usually got and the treatment was toxic, and that was the end of that as far as he was concerned. So, instead of just waiting to die, I completely changed my eating habits and within a few weeks was feeling so much better. I went on to make a full recovery, so I couldn't agree with you more. What you eat really does affect your health in so many ways. Thanks for a great video. I have not tried needle felting, but it does look like fun
I love when you chat while you craft! I'm so glad that you're feeling better! I hope you get good news back. I don't think I have the patience for the felt craft, but yours was looking pretty good.
Cool that you’re felting. Word of advice, have tons of needles. They snap easily. Have tons here to do. Even have enough to do a huge pic to hang. I also have the glove to stop stabbing myself. Yup sharp needles. Came out good. Hope you finish it. ❤❤❤ what you did so far. As for the issue with intestines, I take meds to keep mine at a low roar. Didn’t have issues till I hit 60. Pizza does me in though. So the bears and wildlife get the crust edges. I know better than to consume that part or else the throne becomes my recliner. lol
Hey Ant, Merry Almost-Christmas to you too!! Thanks for the latest fab video and the seasonal pep talk - really glad to hear you're feeling better and have got a better understanding of what's been going on I'm also very glad we didn't see an on-screen accident involving a felting needle and Ant's finger
@@AnthonyCrammen Scarily lethal!! It was nice to see Needle Felt Ted again - he's so cute Hope you're having a great start to the weekend and not feeling overwhelmed by Christmas!! 😂😂
Yes live and let live baby! Nobody knows your body better than you. Also feeling poorly is a very English expression 😂 I’m glad to hear you’re on the mend
Needle felting is one of my favourite crafts! Also, love a pep talk ❤ I started going vegetarian 4 days a week, no real strictness about it and it's been really easy. Been at it for 2 years now, but could never keep a proper "diet" up!
Oh it's so much fun! 😁 Ah and no problem! Oh and good stuff! I think not being too strict/hard on yourself helps in the long run because there's less pressure etc.
I love needle felting and you've inspired me to go back to doing it. I'm so glad you updated on your health as I have been worried for you Anthony. Have a fabulous Xmas, even though you hate it. X
Hi Ant, nice to hear that your tummy issues are so much better. My son can't have gluten, he hasn't got celiac, he's just very intolerant. He's 40 and only recently began to have issues with it. I like that felting pattern you got. It's a really nice one. I've been pondering getting one myself but they only come with 3 needles which is just not enough, which you proved today. I hope you finish that picture and show us in another video. By the way I love your Santa hat and sweater, they suit you. Have you realised that with that hat and those glasses you bear a striking resemblance to Waldo from Where's Waldo. God bless you and I hope you have a great weekend.
I bought a felt kit of a Herdwick years ago and it's still in the box! 1. I didn't want to do it an injustice 2. I was terrified of the needles but now I see you doing a picture I want to buy a kit. The needles might not be as scary working on a flat surface. Sad all the needles broke and you couldn't finish it. Happy to hear your tum is better though😊
I'm glad you enjoy needle felting! I thought I would like it so I bought a whole kit, but I hated it! I felt like it took so long to get anything done. I was trying to make 3D Christmas ornaments though, so maybe a flat surface would be better. Now I'm super into crochet. I thought that would be too tedious but I actually really like it. Give's me an excuse to watch tv.
Oh yeah the 3D objects can be quite tricky! The flat version was way easier! 😅 And I would love to be able to crochet but I can never get my head around it 😅😅
I think you did a good job Ant! I love needle felting too. Two bits of advice - number one, don’t use such big bits of wool and build up layers. Number two. - put a little bit of foam under your work and you won’t break as many needles. If you want to invest in a needle handle (like a holder that you put the needle in), then that might help too. I can’t agree with you more that we all need to pay less attention to the opinions of others. I have an “invisible“ chronic illness and often her the “you don’t look sick“ argument. It sucks and I just tell people to go and get f@#&*%d. I’m glad you figured out your tummy troubles, nothing worse than feeling sick in the stomach (except perhaps a migraine😅). I really like the jumper you have on in this video. Very festive. If you move to Australia Christmas will be in the middle of summer and we can hang out at the beach because I hate Christmas too. Now that my mother has passed away, and I don’t think I will celebrate it any more. Bah! Humbug! 😂😂❤
Oh some good tips! 😁 Ah and sorry to hear that your Mam passed away, shouldn't stop you getting in the festive mood though if you still want to celebrate. Hope you're doing well! 😊😊
@@AnthonyCrammen she was a spritely 96 and it was very quick so that was good. She had a funny turn and then went to sleep and never woke. I miss her heaps. I’ve never liked Christmas. We don’t exchange gifts in my family once you turn 18 (enormous family) so it’s not much fun anymore and I really can’t be bothered.
We are so lucky to have the NHS but the wait times 🥴 I got referred to pain management (fibromyalgia 🙄) back in April, it took 3 months to get a letter to say yes we got your referral. I still don't have an appointment 😂 I wonder who will get their appointment first 🤣 I'll let you know if I get one! I bought the hobbycraft needle felting kit with plans on doing something like this and perhaps incorporating some embroidery and beadwork. Its such a nice tactial craft ❤
Well since recording this they put on some extra clinics so managed to get my appointment lol. Still need surgery on it so got some more waiting to do! Hopefully yours doesn't take much longer! 😞😞 Oh some embroidery and beads would look nice in it! 😁😁
Good to hear that you listened to your body. I wish you the best!! I’m trying to find an interesting ham recipe to share with you. I can’t find it online so I will probably have to buy the cookbook and send it to you on Instagram. ❤
I am glad you are figuring things out, health wise. 9 months??? That's INSANE!!! Is this the only place you can go to?? Is there a call list you can get on, in case there's a cancellation? Just... wow... Ok, on to the project: I've never tried needle felting but have been curious. I've watched videos of this lady who makes pet memorial pieces with the pets fur as the wool on the piece. It's quite incredible. After watching your video I might give it a try... altho hubby will probably get upset about a new craft. LOL I got myself a diamond painting advent calendar and been enjoying it a great deal. My craft room is overflowing with resin stuff, as it's my main craft. (Just released my first video too! EEK! channel is Witch Crafts) I think I would enjoy this however just for the anger STABBING relief LOL Thanks for a lovely video and health update hun!
Ah thanks! Yeah, however they added some extra clinics on since recording this so been to my first appointment, just waiting for surgery now lol! Oh and congrats! The first video is always the hardest to make! 😅😅
I hear you on the gluten thing. Lots of people do not get it. My daughter was diagnosed Celiac disease age 18. Only real way to diagnose is thru colonoscopy. They have to examine the celia fibers in the lower intestines to see if they are healthy or literally dead limp. Healthy celia are what help you process and so forth. Unhealthy crlia ate damaged by gluten thus causing gluten based intolerance or full fledged celiac disease. Or this was how it was explained to us by Dr anyway. She literally cannot even come in contact with gluten. She gets severe reactions just touching gluten which is in everything from lotions and other things to foods. Take it seriously for sure. If you keep ingesting gluten it further damages the celia and can eventually lead to much worse outcome. It was hard in the beginning because it was unknown snd no gluten free products were really available. Today its much easier but the companies producing gluten free products rape your wallet- waaay overcharging. On that note……lol…..Merry Christmas.
Oh wow I don't think mine's as bad as that, that sounds very severe!! And totally agree on the gluten free stuff being a complete and utter rip off! Drives me mad!! 😞😞
Ok Dr Crammen send off your poop to be sure. Never worry about other people I agree be who you want to be. As long as you don't hurt others. I can't cope with a pick I hate felting much too painful. 😮
Oooooh yes, diet is critical for your Gut Health! The Gut is also called the “second brain” in that there is where much of your Seratonin “the feel-good” chemical is produced. They are finding that messing up your gut bacteria with things like sugar, grains, toxic seed oils, processed foods (they cause the wrong bacteria to grow and that inhibits the Seratonin production) can cause depression and mood disorders. Who knew?
