WOW!! I played this in the 90's in middle school and high school. But the rules were different when moving on the table. You kicked off from the edge and have 2 or 3 times to get to the edge (that depended on how long the table was) Once you got to the edge you got your points and the chance to kick for extra points. The next player would then kick-off and try to get back to your edge in two or three moves. If you didn't make it, they got 2-3 moves back to you and so on, until you got close to the edge. If the ball was knock off the table you get to kick it off again. We played to a certain points (40), that way we all could play the winner. We played this game RELIGIOUSLY! We all had our own colored footballs with our favorite team. Then the teacher would take them away and we would GO APE SHIT!!!! Over a Piece of paper!! LOL Those were the days... Now everyone wants to play Fartnite, Roblox, or Minecraft on their tablets. I'm gonna show this to the kids I help mentor. This is the dying age of using your imagination.
Back in the 60's and 70's we played this in the school yard between the parking lines. You got 4 downs to get it in the middle of the white line for the TD, so the smaller the football was made it easier to get a TD.. A simple but great game.
I remember playing and writing the team names on each side. If the ball flipped after flicking then a turnover was awarded and you had an extra flick to try and get to the edge
Off the table was always a field goal when we played, and I can’t remember how many fights I got into because of those field goals and extra points smacking me in the face lol
This was popular among the boys at my Jr. High School. We girls, & maybe the boys used the concept as clever way to pass notes, in the paper football shape
I’ve played this so much but added some new rules. With kickoff u just kick like a regular field goal but not off the edge. 2 point conversions can be scored with the player putting the paper near the edge and having a flick attempt, if they don’t make it, it’s 6 points. I also added field goals and safeties. You can do a field goal attempt for 3 points every few minutes and safety’s are if you fail to flick the ball close to your end zone (2 point)
I also played this in high school. But we had a penalty kick rule. Whenever a player flicked the ball off the edge, they conceded a penalty & the opposing player is awarded a free kick. We used the rugby scoring method.
OK I'm starting a league with this and my team is called black star cowboys so if you want your team in my league leave a comment of the name of your team
So many memories of middle school study hall! Thanks, I grinned the entire video!
Same bro
I'm sure we all remember that guy who would kickoff the ball straight to the edge every single time and shout "No touchbacks!"
This is great! I'm homeschooled, so I've never played this game before! Worth every second!
The way I use to play....if the opposing player knocks the football off the table 3 times, you get to attempt a field goal on “4th Down”
Thats how we played in my elementary days
Yep that's how I remember it too. I'm from CA, so perhaps those were west coast rules.
I always tell my friends we should play with those rules but they think it’s too complicated 😭
I’m from Oklahoma and that’s how we played it here
Played so much of this back in high school study hall, if we didn't have Magic cards or Pogs.
All trading cards and pogs were already banned by the time I was in high school. This was all we had.
@Jaydoggy531 You’re not in high school... nor am I.
@@parinuser You are correct. That's why I wrote in the past-tense.
Pogs... Peak gaming experience. If only they knew...
Pog...Bah hahahaha!!!

Added this to my drunk gambling nights with friends 🔥🔥 brings back good memories

Ahhhh yes... Playing paper football in class back in the 1960's/70's... Life is good.
You left out the part about getting hit in the eye on every other field goal attempt

As a football player this will be great 😁 thanks
This and pencil fighting was my life
Chops or no chops?😂

Whats the earliest recorded mention of paper football being played, I wonder?

god bless you bro

When we played in the 70's, the football had to be flicked off the edge and fell three times to get a field goal attempt.
Man o man... lots of table time back in the day. Forgot about 3pt (field goal) rule. Now does anyone remember Booty Green?
Who's here after Endgame?
I was 2 years ago 😂
That was a good scene 😂
Me😅😅
80s CLASSIC GAME
What happens if the start makes it to the touchdown?
When I was little I thought this game was so advanced and brilliant lmao

And, what is the half-time show like? Flash your big-toe on the table?
Mirror man or pbbv?
Its actually called table football. This vid was really helpful btw
Good

avengers - end game : )
Ok guys I am here after endgame who else?
what about paper soccer?
does it even exist?..
We played paper soccer, we just rolled a few sheets of paper into a tight ball. The foil gum wrappers worked the best for that.
LOL
It’s called blow football. Played with scrunched up paper or foil and two straws.
wow, I didn't expect another answer 1 year later haha
good to know
yes. it's played on a very long table. Players flick the football back and forth. the last person awake wins.
OK I'm starting a league with this and my team is called black star cowboys so if you want your team in my league leave a comment of the name of your team
I don't remember it being this dumb. It was 3 hits to get to the edge then the field goal from the other end of the table
Lol. I remember
Classic😂
this didn't even work
😂😂😂😂😂😂
