Cenobites is so good. i'd say peak eccentric/boom bap Kool Keith style, and Don makes some excellent production. (interesting as their original name for their project was "agents of chaos" which i prefer) Don's works seem to lift a lot of weight in circles.
Ahaha my old friend! I watched this wondering "is he gonna say the Cenobites CD?" and there it is! I bought it off Marco Polo :) I found the vinyl at a record fair here for £1 too. I've got the Japanese CD release of Future Development too (and the wax 😎). Great video! If I ever seen any of these floating around here for cheap I'll hook it up

For me a rare cd I wanted was Bg Knocc Out & Dresta’s Real Brothas. I’ve been looking for almost a decade now but it’s so damn expensive still hovering over 100 dollars on eBay. A cd I did get that might be rare is Little Brother’s The Pilot which is a sampler cd of their second album the Minstrel Show that I got mainly because it contains 2 tracks that are parody commercials (there is one not on this cd that is on the original album) that are only on this cd and same with an exclusive skit and outro and I’m gonna combine that stuff with the original album and make a cd for myself that is essentially a definitive version of Little Brother - The Minstrel Show
That dres and BG album has been on my want list for years now too. They repressed it years ago now and it was only like $20 but i never pulled the trigger and I'm still regretting it. I need to look into that little brother sampler though! Not sure I've ever seen it

The list was great, had this pop up on my home page. Mostly a Vinyl guy but I have a rare Radiohead CD and I paid a fair sum for one of my hip hop grails Koopsta Knicca - Da Devils Playground, which I sourced from an original owner since bootlegs are everywhere. Not a hip hop CD but TV On The Radio sold CDs of their first record OK Calculator at shows, probably a few hundred total but there's no info online. Used to be able to find them for ~$100 but one hasn't been listed on Discogs for 4 years now. Just a heads up that the volume is quite low in this video, the overall mix is fine with the music but I had to turn my speakers way up. Not sure what you're editing in but make sure the audio gets normalized when you export.

Only CDs i'm missing are a couple of Qwel & Maker albums. And Mobb Deep's 2014 album The Infamous Mobb Deep. I want that one badly just for the second disc with all the unreleased and rare material from Mobb Deep's mid 90s era. Unfortunately due to Prodigy's death, that was the one release by Mobb Deep that became incredibly hard to find. It was too late for me by the time i wanted to get to it.
Still heated at myself for not copping that Mobb album when it came out. I put it off and soon after it was fucking gone. Definitely on my list as well
Im trying to find soul on ice ras kass, ogc da storm, and nocturnal heltah skeltah. Some of the monsta island czars would be nice to but their solo albums are almost impossible to find. Same with the cenobites album
