I own the D750 and D850 and I gotta say the D750 still hold its own very well, its got a amazing low light performance, better then the D850 by about half a stop, excellent AF system and it was very reliable to me in the 3.5 years that I own it, shot many weddings with it and it is still my main wedding camera with the D850 acting as second body. I LOVE my D750!!!
Aditya recall was for mainly first models in late 2014 and early 2015. Nikon found the fix and issued the recall, but that has no effect on 2018 new camera as they don't make these new cameras with these defects.
I have 2 D750's one that had a shutter problem and was fixed for free and the second that I bought which I recently checked with the serial number and there is no shutter problem with it. Basically this was an old issue that has now been fixed and anyone saying that a d750 is not worth buying because of shutter problems is out to lunch. Also if anyone shoots professionally with a D750 and only has one then your not a pro. Any camera can fail regardless of what model it is. So for the price 2 D750's get you way more mileage than a d850. For weddings and portraits I would stick to the D750 anyday
Yeah, i´ve bought my D750 in 2018 and i´m very pleased with it! All who can´t afford the very expensive D850 - geht the D750 instantly - you will love it! Sry 4 my english
The D750 is the cure from everything else out there, including that piss ass A7lll and I will recent if they down play the IQ of the D750 on the upcoming D760.Foto your inglich is perfectomundo fain and bery well. Just like mine.
Man, my D750 broke recently because it fell off of my tripod... now I'm looking to buy a d750 again and for some reason I ended up looking reviews about the camera, man I miss my D750 :(
I really appreciate this review - and this _kind_ of review. The other night I watched somebody else's video that compared the D750 to the Canon 6D Mark II and the Sony a7iii, and it was just a spec-by-spec-by-spec rundown. What do you know, the newest camera of the three won nearly every round. Not only was it boring, but it didn't tell me which one was right for me, or why I might still be perfectly happy with a camera that came out three years ago. Thanks very much.
I have just bought one of these, sold my Canon 80D, this D750 is way ahead of the Canon in every way except the LCD screen which on the Canon is touchscreen, I sometimes forget that and touch to change things on the Nikon. Now if Nikon brought out a semi pro camera with a fully articulated touch screen with the features and image quality of the D750 they would have a world beater.
The D750 is the best DSLR ever period. D850 on a tripod for special studio stuff and landscapes. You can still do that with D750 and handhold it with most lenses ever made and get amazing results. the best ever is the D750.
Hi Jonathan. It's good at a wide range of styles. Landscape, portrait, etc would all do well. It's particular strong suit is low light so wedding photographers tend to quite like it as they're often shooting in dim churches and reception halls. But it's a good jack-of-all-trades camera certainly
I shoot commercially with two D750 bodies and even after 4 years they still do the job. Unless there's a technology shift then there's little point in changing.
Hopefully Nikon keep what makes the Nikon D750 great and only add touch screen, articulating screen like on the Nikon D5500 and D5600. Also it must have both WiFi and snap bridge. And unlimited recording in both uncropped HD video and uncropped 4K video. With two SD card slots which use the same sd card. And also no anti alliasing filter like in both the Nikon D5500 and D5600 and Nikon D850
I'm a portrait shooter still using the D700. I don't and a big budget and I don't want massive files so my sweetspot would be a modernised and toughened-up D750 (ie a full-frame 20-24 MP sensor with a strong reliable shutter. I may just go for a used D500 at some point and suck up the small sensor cos it's such a money saver.
If you are a portrait shooter: 1. You may be fine with D700. 2. I see no advantages of young for D500 - DX sports and wildlife camera. 3. I really like the colors coming from D4, and don't really like skin colors coming from D750. This might have been the reason they used D4's sensor in Df instead of D750's.
I agree about the F4 - I've tried it and its fabulous, but it's far too expensive for me. The D700 is brilliant for portraits but I believe the D500's focus system would be much better at grabbing perfect focus in fast-moving or lower light shoots where your models (eg. Children) won't stay still and pose for you. Also for ambient lighting I think the more modern sensor will allow higher ISO settings and faster shutter speeds. It probably has a higher dynamic range too (despite only being APSC.) A friend has a D5500 and I was pretty impressed with what the smaller sensor is cabable of when used back to back with the D700 in the same portrait shoot. Those are advantages to be weighed. As you say the D700 colours and skin tones really have something that the D5500 can't match. I'm minded to at leas try out a D500 some time but it's not urgent.
Agree, and if you can't find a good deal on a D750, look at the D600/D610 cameras. Not that much difference from my experience unless you shoot lot's of low light.
Is the presenter American or Australian. As when I first started watching these reviews I thought the channel was based in America. But then I realised they was based in Australia.
wow. you know what? i subed as soon as i saw the title. looked for a vid like this long ago. the funny part its i own both of them and never made a difference . didnt have time ok lets watch the vid
Why you buy Sony A7iii if you can get Nikon D750? In Nikon you can fit bunch of great quality lenses for 1/10 of price, made last 50 years, light and extremely durable body and lenses, very reliable, amazing low light performance and very fast auto focus, DSLR which means you have optical viewfinder not a electronic one, which is horrible in low light and night photography, much better battery performance compare to Sony. You can say that body is lighter and smaller on mirrorless which is probably true if you shoot without lenses, but if you put lens, you will end with the same length and probably weight.
Juss Fayth Not here to suggest that the sony a7iii is affordable. It is definitely more expensive than the d750. But it is also a much much better camera. It is the only camera in this price range with a comprehensive set of pro features. My opinion is swayed by many factors that may not be important to you though. I am a hybrid shooter so video af is a game changer. My only nikon lens worth keeping is my 50 f1.2 which will manual focus easier on sony. I also have a full range of minolta legacy glass to adapt. I will need to think very carefully about my lens selection to keep it within any sort of budget. But I am planning that all in before the case. The tamron 28-75 f2.8 is a great new option and I'm looking more at the 85 1.8 and samyung 35 f1.4 af primes. 16-35 f4 is still to expensive for my liking. If eye af, 4k video, clear image zoom (video), stabilisation, legacy glass, evf, 10fps isn't important then the d750 is a really capable camera Strangely my biggest reason for going Sony is because I actually am looking to invest in good glass. I was at a cross roads where I wanted a new lens and not body but realised my next camera would not be another nikon but a Sony. Long term I'm investing in the system I believe in even if it doesn't have great third party support yet.
your god and any of the 4.000 current gods and religions not to mention all those gods who are no longer relevant like the inca, roman, greek gods are made up to control the masses. the difference between science and your god is i can prove science like gravity, that wont change like the bible/quran when its rewritten. i can show you proof that the world is not the center of the universe and its not flat like islam and Christianity writes. science doesn't propagate genocide either like islam does in its jihad. oh and science will give you a comfortable life and probably safe your live too with al its medication and hospitals. your god wont safe you. science is my religion LOL.
I've never heard anyone pronounce it "Nick on" before lol. It's funny because other than that you don't have any detectable weird accent or anything like that. All joking aside this was a great video and great review. My 1st and still only DSLR camera is the D-3200 which seems leagues behind the D-750. My brother has the P-900 super zoom or whatever the hell it is. That camera is just sick when it comes to how far you can zoom. He heard you could see the rings of Saturn with it so he tried it and yes you can see the rings of Saturn with it. Just insane! And now they're coming out with a P-1000!
Get the d750 it’s a great camera. That what i shoot with, check out my instagram at VISUALSBYDANNY if u still have a doubt bcoz that what i use for all my Instagram shots...TELL ME YOURE FROM TH-cam😊
I've owned one for 3 years it's not built well - shutter replaced - outer skin came off - eyecup falls off - port doors don't shut properly - and finally the live view button fell off.
Stephen Gatley you mean this in the focus icons ( .*) yeah tried it a few times not sure what it's supposed to be delivering. I swap from spot to matrix to be honest. The only thing I will say is the images and video quality are very nice from it.

Eshel Art Photography I intend to purchase both
ruffdraft you will love both 😊

Aditya And? Affects only a small number of cameras plus Nikon is replacing shutters for free. I'm sure you've never owned one...

Weirdly, that review is next on my Auto-Play List...
I want the Nikon D750 and the Canon 80D. And in two years time I shall purchase the Nikon D850 as well as the Nikon D750 update
The D750 is insane value. The best camera Nikon makes. just incredible
I have just bought one of these, sold my Canon 80D, this D750 is way ahead of the Canon in every way except the LCD screen which on the Canon is touchscreen, I sometimes forget that and touch to change things on the Nikon. Most of the shots and images were taken in Melbourne, Australia? I have seen this Swami guy @03:07 in the CBD....
Yes, we're an Australian company and these reviews are shot in Melbourne
In todays date which one is better Canon 6 d mark 2 or Nikon D750?
Nice hair. Looks like mine 😁 so it's now 2022. This still good for a full frame?
The D750 is the best DSLR ever period. D850 on a tripod for special studio stuff and landscapes. You can still do that with D750 and handhold it with most lenses ever made and get amazing results. the best ever is the D750.
Ha Ha, no way.
This is encouraging for someone that has a 750 waiting for them
I recently bought the d850 but I do a lot of astrophotography the d750 is still raved about.
What lav mic are you using in this review? Also, been really enjoying the reviews, please keep them up!
Good show! Said every thing I wanted to hear, Cheers!
dose she have eye auto focus?
what type of photography would you say the d750 is good for?
Hi Jonathan. It's good at a wide range of styles. Landscape, portrait, etc would all do well. It's particular strong suit is low light so wedding photographers tend to quite like it as they're often shooting in dim churches and reception halls. But it's a good jack-of-all-trades camera certainly
@JBulsara A why not street? I am intending to buy it in this period. Is it recommended given it is now 5 yrs old?
I shoot commercially with two D750 bodies and even after 4 years they still do the job. Unless there's a technology shift then there's little point in changing.

you will love the D500, in my opinion the best allrounder there is to day
If you are a portrait shooter:

D750 has the BEST image quality files I’ve ever used and I’ve used all pro cameras from Nikon and Canon....well apart from the D850.....love the D750
@Back And Fort I ignore the brainless keyboard warriors. Thanks for that man. Forums always brings the dickheads out.....both cameras are stellar.
@baby jesus Twat.
@Back And Fort D810 still a classic too yeah! :D
Really? Better than a d4 or a d700 no way.
Just bought a D750. Black Friday deal only 799€ 😄
Hopefully I buy this tomorrow once I have bought my laptop.
I still can’t make up my mind on which one to get.
On one hand is the price concern, on the other, the features of the D850.
Which one did you buy in the end?
Agree, and if you can't find a good deal on a D750, look at the D600/D610 cameras. Not that much difference from my experience unless you shoot lot's of low light.
Thanks for the video mcalycalken
I had to reduce the playback speed to 50%, in order to understand what you are saying
I bought my D750 over 3 years ago. It was RM5888 (before Malaysia gov launch GST). Now the price is about RM6000, but the D850 is RM14000!!!
I want this camera. Along with the Canon 80D and Panasonic GH5 and Sony A73
Awesome review!.... Thank You!!
Thanks Norman, glad you enjoyed
It is too late to purchase a D750? Or should I wait to buy an D4s?
Hi Robinson. It's not too late, no. The D750 is still an active camera in Nikon's lineup
Very good video.
Thanks
It also has a major shutter issues
Super video
well done!
Thanks Bruce, glad you enjoyed
I’ve got the a7ii but there’s no cheaper lenses ffs, I could buy a D750 cheaper than the majority of the lenses
Is the presenter American or Australian. As when I first started watching these reviews I thought the channel was based in America. But then I realised they was based in Australia.
digiDIRECT Oh OK. Cool. Have a great day. I am hugely going to purchase the Nikon D750
wow. you know what? i subed as soon as i saw the title. looked for a vid like this long ago.
the funny part its i own both of them and never made a difference . didnt have time
ok lets watch the vid
why buy d750 if you can get sony a7iii for same price? only if you have a lot of nikon glass if you don't then there is no reason to buy d750

Roark Robinson can you afford Sony glass after you spend $2000 on a camera body

sony's lenses have a lot to be desired. some are good many are just average un fortunately.
Jesus is right but I would love to own a d850
Rob Jorg lol 😂
Harley Wanderer no

Lukeamania apart from USA and Canada, that’s how Nikon is pronounce al over the world.
could you speak a little faster please
Aditya ha ha, you would sound like a chipmunk! Love you videos.
I think more people will go with Sony a7iii because its much more at similar price range!
Aditya oh yeah! Right
People who are shooting the D750 with some kick ass Nikon F mount lens, aren't going anywhere any time soon.
Get the d750 it’s a great camera. That what i shoot with, check out my instagram at VISUALSBYDANNY if u still have a doubt bcoz that what i use for all my Instagram shots...TELL ME YOURE FROM TH-cam😊
Mr Pink has let himself go.
Wait...have I been saying Nikon wrong?
Nee-Kon
I've owned one for 3 years it's not built well - shutter replaced - outer skin came off - eyecup falls off - port doors don't shut properly - and finally the live view button fell off.
Mark Shirley That sucks man I use the D610 it’s been incredibly reliable, The only thing I envy is highlight weighted metering from the D750!.
Stephen Gatley you mean this in the focus icons ( .*) yeah tried it a few times not sure what it's supposed to be delivering. I swap from spot to matrix to be honest. The only thing I will say is the images and video quality are very nice from it.
a little tape on the eyeport frame will stop the cups from falling off
Bruce Maddox I've superglued it
Maybe u should learn how to take care of your stuff
Well that does it - I'm getting a "nickon" lol
