When I played a Thursar I RP'ed as an orphan trying to find his estranged father in the Risar dungeons. Hittin every Risar and going: ''Dad?'' was pretty fun.
Thursars excel at small scale PvP and are one of the best classes for that. I think they really shine with spears IMO. Much better overall with a spear compared to an Axe even though you are saving some action points with the axe. If one simply swaps the the axe for the spear you are A and B in almost all PvP categories. Axe is just too hard IMO. Esp the 2H axe.
With a certain 900 gold ax you could one shot a veela and kill him without him even going into Mercy mode. This was before mastery and without trinkets. You also missed the fun Factor, with the plus 20 strength clade you were able to run a 150 strength dense crepite longbow and if you found a naked horse you could one shot the horse. Although you would only get two shots every 3 or 4 minutes. With said x you could also hit through blocks for twenties on mages.
Do I absolutely have to HAVE the age, height and weight these specifics? Every build people online tell me I HAVE to have max height and stout weight and age 30? I know this is more or less META pre-reqs character creation specifics. I'm having fun, I definitely want to be competitive when I am doing PvP with a guild later, I just don't want to waste time thats most important. I just turned lvl 6, don't want to really reroll because of a minor detail like that if it doesn't matter. I also have 328/1100 Action Skills; 439/1200 Profession Skills (don't want to visit the library again). If I can keep this platform and make my adjustments to pursue this Barbarian build, that would be so perfect. IF it's worth it to re-roll, least now I know before I leave Haven (I'm like right there) level 6. Cheers for the insight and video, great work. I just went with random choices on the start of the creation menu, and I got very similar character stats: Thursar Health: 170 Stam: 339 Mana: 77 STR: 104/113 DEXT: 92/92 CON: 93/115 PSY: 13/75 INT: 64/75 Size: 99 Melee DMG Bonus: 19% Weight: 99kg (Fit) Height: 198cm Age: 36 Clade Gifts: Tenacious Aggressive Stocky Powerful Muscular Forceful
You could have 220 health and 30% damage bonus but you have only 170HP and 19% DMG... 😅 You must reroll because on this current build you are keeping the worst traits of thursars (slow, magic target etc..) renouncing on the only things that made him playable & situationally PVP competitive like the higher health pool and the highest damage % bonus in the game. If you wanna have a footie with 170 health you must go for Veela, renouncing to health and damage that are the strong point of the Thursar clade but gaining dexterity, cool survival clade gifts and the ability to run/dive in teamfights. Also, as a new clades I suggest you to pick the warcrys that give you buffs right away in haven, for a smoother farming expearience 😁😁 have a good day!
..but anyway now the developers have reworked the Haven experience and there are various pre-Build of different race/playstyles you can choose from without going too bad 😁

Love these apex. Keep making them, only way to give the community and new players a easier time is by throwing them a bone every now and then.

Once weapon skills are added I'll likely do a build around it, for now its not viable to be an Archer focused character aside from MA

look at the road map. its last on sprint 4. maybe end of the year
