There are two things that I struggle with:
1. Skill moves in the box, I am quite ok with skill moves in the midfield, the wing, just outside the box but not inside it
2. Less of a struggle and more of annoyance of how many good chances the keeper saves and why it’s so much easier to score on the counter attack than in build up. It’s like the counter attack adds power to the shots
One important thing to add, I also don’t use a lot of complex skill moves and use to attack like you show in the clip but I face so much park the bus and tight defences that sometimes you need that one skill moves simply to control the tempo and create the space for the pass to open up the defense
I dont think you do. I think passing opens up more space than skills at the edge of the box where u beat one man and another two is lining up.
@@ariffrazif6772 of course, that’s why I mainly uses passes and especially passing to the strikers feet to open up space but sometimes you need skills( mainly basic) to open up passing lanes and I think that in the box you don’t need them but it’s a nice addition because it means that you can create better chances and also use less players when you attack
I'm the same. Can't even make a clear pass without either getting booked for making a clean tackle or dispossessed with interceptions from cheaters 😡🤬

This is truly beneficial , but it would be even more helpful if you specify which button your are pressing during maneuvers like overpass or other passes. This additional detail would add greater value for begineer

4:03 usually if the keeper makes their way out like that, just make a finesse shot. Unless your opponent can defend the situation, but Its very rare. Haven't found one yet to be honest
1) Avoid using skill moves. Keep it simple.
2) Composure. Make high percentage passes and chances.
4) Speed Deception.
Can you do a video about how to keep your stamina high I am always losing my stamina in the first half

That is quite easier to have the composure when you have players like Garrincha, Eusebio, Mathaus in your squad. What would you advice to players with the squads that do not cost that much? Especially when you’re stuck in Div5 where everybody seems to have “god squads” with tons of Icons/Heroes/Specials…?
Having a good team makes it easier but you can still make it with a lesser valued team if your are better than your opponent
Div 3 here and I've lost 4-1 to a guy with 78 OVR squad

Attacking is easier this year. It's defending that has been made too difficult. Teammate AI suck and clueless on where they should be. Goalfest galore whether vs a real player or CPU.

How are your players without the ball making such good runs? What are the tactics you are using?
When attacking, press L1 or LB to trigger runs
Change tactics to foward runs
I was all set to say it won't happen instantly but these are good tips. Difficult to play with this kind of chill tho, plus you have some boss players. 😁

We didn't use a chip shot, we passed the ball across goal to the open man using the (Triangle/Y) Button

Most likely a through ball cause if it was a regular pass it would most likely have gone to the oponent.

None of these example help me :( I play seasons and in division 1 everyone’s defense is so compact and so hard to breakthrough I wish there were examples against something like that

I hate fifa 23. My defense gets broken so easily and I get the ball taken away from me way too much. If I win then the other player literally sucks. Because I suck. I’m just trynna have fun but everyone knows what the heck to do and it’s mad annoying

This game is just trashy on PS4 as of recently, player movement just doesn’t feel fluid (feels like beach soccer). And the accuracy of regular players is just rubbish. Players will actively try to position themselves in terribly from a perfect angle just to miss the goal.
And why does it feel like my team stats drops if I play a stronger team

I appreciate this, playing against people with god squads trying to do all sorts of skill moves ends up being funny to me since you can literally predict and stand still with people like VVD and Maldini and you'll just take their ball if you 1v1

3:27 just one of the reasons why this game is now BEYOND terrible. The CB does absolutely NOTHING while the goal scorer just steps away from him like “ok mate I’ll give you a call tomorrow then” 🤦♂️😂. There’s no one else making a run into that area! Yet he says “ho hum I’m kinda tired… it is the 93rd minute and all!”
But to make it even worse the guy does a first time chip shot with the side of his foot on a ball that’s traveling FORWARD. He doesn’t even have to stop the ball and then chip it. Was that Jesus Christ himself scoring that?
None of this EVER HAPPENED prior to like FIFA 16 or so. FIFA 12 was the gold standard of video games not just sports. You actually needed talented thumbs to be good at that game.
I don’t get it. Why make the game less skill based? More customers? I’m not quite sure. Weird flex if you ask me. So frustrating though for people who were around when FIFA was a real chess match of a game.
