This is a typical king player. 1- set up safe move 2- duck and immediately do df2 3-use throw 4- if broken use armor move 5- if not broken go for oki 6- repeat

@@rompstomprvc2747 Besides b3 and db1+2 (power crushes), King doesn't have any panic buttons, it's just impossible to play the character at that level without having good defense, the King in the video comitted only minor mistakes and it was punished till death because Bryan is Bryan, there are far more cheap offensive characters that recquires much less defense skill and King it's not one of them, you see a lot of Hwoarang mains reaching Tekken Emperor without any sense of defense or punishing whatsoever, but you'll never see a King player reaching that level by cheesing offense, that's just impossible. Skill floor to beat King is high but once you figure him out, it's game over, King players can't do shit, i'm not saying that he's weak, far from it, but people just needs to understand that King isn't cheap as they say he is. I'm not a King main by the way, just tired to see people complaining about the character all the time instead of learning him.
@@felipintao I feel that is partial to what part of the world you play in. East coast NA tekken king, etc, they just don't have it. At least not the ones I match with anyways. But we could just be overall worse players here. Idk

As a Lee main, Kings really do have terrible defense. Most people who play insanely OP characters often have trash ass defense cus they’re so used to mashing. It’s been ages since I lost to King, Dragunov, Law, etc cus they’re so used to mashing they have no clue how to deal with the mixups😂 they can oppress but when they’re getting oppressed they don’t know wtf to do😂😂😂
For me personally, I play king similarly to how I played him in t8 so generally a lot more difficult defensively, but fr every king I've played online is just a hyperarmour spammer lol
