Grand Valley Speedway will always be my favorite fictional GT track. I have very fond memories of winning and losing there a long time ago... Such a good game series.

Classic. Out of fuel crossing the line, lose a position, come 5th... yet R4M still had a car in 6th. Beautiful stuff.

They’re all amazing tracks. Deep Forest II from Gran Turismo 3 drives perfectly. Can’t forget about the SSRs either.

Chances are you won't see this SuperGT but on the off chance you do I'd like to thank you for making me feel comfortable with your new and old videos. The last four days I've been dealing with the flu and the muscle pain has been excruciating but your videos have frequently but temporarily taken my mind off of it so I am hugely greatful. Love the honesty+modesty here. This is the biggest GT Sport channel I know.
I play PC2 (mainly in career mode) but I'd say my favorite track to do finding and testing on is Laguna Seca. One reason is that it has a bit of everything, hairpins double apexes, the corkscrew chicane, but the other reason is that I saw Super GT teach the best lines to the straight pipes and I found those lines to be way better than the racing line overlay in PC2, so I know what the limits of the car are basically after turn 2.

My fav fictional tracks are Kyoto (Either the combined layout or Yamagiwa on its own) and Dragon Trail - Seaside. Both tracks in the SF19's are unbelievable

Pronunciation guide on Halbstark. Say it like hulbsh-dark. Imagine you're Scottish saying the "bulb ish dark", then your half way there. Halbstark is a dated German word for a teenager or young adult. It was used in the 50s or 60s of the last century. So kudos for Halbstark preserving dated vocubulary. Some 60 years ago a band named "Die Yankees" produced a single "Halbstark", singing about young adults racing in the city. Please note that "Die" is no verb in German but literally translated "The Yankees". No-one is supposed to die here. ;-) If you want to get a feeling for the time, watch an episode of Happy Days. Fonzie would be considered Halbstark with his leather jacket.
...and 22 years later (1987) came the Halbstark-cover from the german punk band DIE TOTEN HOSEN.
So maybe Halbstark could be a Punk-Fan !?!?

Favorite fictional track, Trial Mountain, there's more than one track in GT Sport I'd happily drop to have that back.
High speed ring is my favorite, used to hotlap a corvette and a golf around that circuit trying to get better times when i was a kid back in gran turismo 2 days.

My favorite fictional circuit is Mount Panorama. The scenery around the track reminds me of Australia and it's perfect for endurance races, it's a shame it's fictional.

Carrying out my R4M duties today, Porsche got punted into me by a Mazda on the first corner, Mazda then forced his way on the inside on turn 4 and got ahead so I span out the Porsche straight into the shadow realm(also know as the wall), Mazda somehow got the penalty 5 second even though his contact was a couple secs before and his contact didn’t force me to spin the Porsche out. I’m not complaining though.

Halbstark held that nsx pretty well. I tried to no stop the nsx and it was a nightmare.

It had to be Lago Maggiore GP and Tokyo R246. PD is always spot on with their fictional tracks.
Last few races of Spa the other week totally destroyed my S rank SR. After racing (and winning) just one race here it's risen up to A. One more and I'm back where I deserve :)

Just watched the highlight of the world tour finals. Which is, of course, the pro am race at Laguna Seca. I noticed that Bishop passed something to Gallo when they shook hands. Which I can only assume. ( Due to the importance of this race ) was a rather large cheque? So it seems corruption is rife even at the absolute pinnacle of motorsport. Anyway.... Make sure you get your half. Still a fan. 👍

I just came off this race and got pushed off the track twice in the same lap, and neither of the racers got a penalty for it. I ended up rage quitting because I was 12 seconds behind the guy ahead of me and the shitty handling of the car wasn’t helping.

The italian guys I've met earlier... How to say that... 90-some percent of them were simply cruise missiles. When there are more than one italian in my proximity my hands always shaking a bit (cause i don't want to end my race in the shadow realm) I wondered if they have some manners in higher (than B) SR, but as i can see there's no hope for them (or me?) =D

These daily combos are so repetitive. I thought this issue was solved. Once again we get a dull Honda Beat race. So many VGT cars waiting to be used PD. Not tomention Super Formula or Taycan.
They should always have a race with either Gr. 3 or 4 for the popularity of these categories, but I just can't see why we have EVERY SINGLE WEEK race A with a N100 or 200 japanese car. We have cars like the Taycan, the new Merc, Vision GTs, the X2019 and Gr. 1 just so they're mostly not even used. It's really annoying having to wait for 6-8 weeks just to race my favourite cars (Gr. 1) on the daily races

How are people who pit catching and passing you? I've seen this in multiple videos. And if it's just due to heavy fuel plan and fresh tires, then why doesn't everyone do it?
It's a close call as to which is the quicker strategy. The problem with pitting is you have to run fast 'qualifying' style laps to keep the pace up which has a much higher risk of making a mistake. Fuel saving and not pitting means driving a bit slower and less chance of making a mistake. It's a risk versus reward decision as to which strategy you choose. I usually fuel save as it's safer. Also, the guy who won this race didn't pit.
