I play the game a lot, so I cannot only spit critisism, my main issue is that i get a loss if my opponent loses connection and that the 8th round way too often does not count. In addition, mashing power punches is still an issue, hand fatigue might e one solution. Random ko-s are another. Solution is easy, if damage doubles the life bar it should be an auto KO. NOTHING else! I hope in the near future it will get better.
I just lost to a dude. Matched up w/ him again. Ko’d main man. And the game gave me a loss. Also had a close fight w/ another dude. Knocked him down 2 times in the last round that should’ve put me up on the scorecard. He won cuz they didn’t score the round. Little things about the game annoy me. We’re all happy to have a boxing game but at this point we have to start a class action lawsuit.
I LOVE this game (play exclusively offline obviously) but man I wish they would get rid of power punches all together. That wind up animation is so silly, you would never see a boxer do that in real life
I think you're wrong to some degree about people wanting it to be like fight night or blow fight night out of the water I think it's the updates that have fixed one thing but then broke another thing is what's making people put the game down. I myself love boxing I love gaming but I myself have put this game down for now. Because the first release world wide everything was good the only issue I had was power punchers not having any depletion to their stamina. All we asked for is for power punches to actually have effect on stamina. But then they decided to tweak the stamina which I was okay with but then they messed up hit accuracy... Then they added an increase of stamina which brought back the spammers but this time it depleted their stamina but now you get punished when you go for a counter and because your counter didn't land due to hit accuracy you then get countered 🤦🏼♂️ when someone guard their body punches to the head are sliding over their head the games for progressively worse and I feel most people gave it chance but the updates keep bringing more bugs so.... And this notion of "oh SCI are only a small studio" they didn't charge small studio prices though did they??
FightNight Champions was aslo the fourth FightNight installment in the series. Also, the first 2 games couldn't be patched. They were on disc with no real internet connectivity. They had to be polished before release. So many games now are launched unfinished and fixed as time passes. Undisputed isn't the only game launching with issues.
I've played just about every boxing game since the 1980's and this is by far the best boxing game ever made. The game has some tracking issues, multiplayer leaderboard issues, and needs some more balancing but the actual movement and gameplay is off the charts compared to old boxing games. To be fair, I think they over hyped what their capabilities were and charged a little too much for the base game, but I have had a great time playing the game and look forward to future updates. I just think people get upset that the game is not easy and requires some strategy in the ring.
Yea I agree. I think people who think fight night is better aren’t analyzing it as it should. Fight night is polished as far as no bugs or glitches but it’s almost cartoon boxing compared to undisputed in the category of realism. The game in my opinion is bad, but it’s better than all of its predecessors. With that being said I’ve been addicted. I’m also a pro fifa player and that game has been around for 20 years , and has billions of dollars backing it and it also has bugs and glitches. I think the game is about 2-3 years away from what we need it

Naw dog Fight Night is much more fluid and loose. And combo inputs are more accurate on fight night. Fight Night champion is better than this game. I like this game it’s the only boxing we have, but to say it’s the bes🤦🏾♂️ Knock kings 2000 and Ready to Rumble Round to are better
Match making ranking systems needs to be adjusted I should not be going against higher ranked players when I haven’t even won 10 games going against people with 200 plus wins. It’s has a lot of potential if they can get everything polished!
To you point of listening to the community they are but with that being said there should be monthly patches to the game based on feedback from the community until the game is fixed
It’s not trash. It’s a waste of my money spent on a broken promise and a bait and switch from Steel City. They showed us ESBC and gave us Undisputed. Two totally different games.
If they continue to fix the game I’ll keep supporting… almost every game these days is released with many issues… I think developers take advantage of the fact that there is internet… they release it knowing they’ll just add future updates… back then we didn’t have internet so Nintendo, sega, etc, had to really polish the game before releasing it…
There needs to be a vulnerability window for people throwing punches and missing because they literally miss a punch and just throw another punch there should be a window of vulnerability
don't forget the hype and stuff SCI was saying about releasing the best boxing game ever. This is not the best. Not really bad, but not really good either. a huge let down from what SCI was saying they were doing. I'm optimistic that it will continue to improve, just over a long time.

On the very first day of early access it felt like we was given half a game, i was waiting for a gym and training. Im sure they advertised you can shadow box on your own too. They lowered the graphics from the videos they been showing you. Now its broken more than it ever was it plays terrible most fights and still feels like half a game to me. 4 out of 10. Low budget game and will cost you more than £200 with all the dlcs.
I really agree with the 7/10 score only if it compares to other games. I’ve played many ea games and they’ve all had glitches and cheese … if you play madden and spend your money you can’t act like it’s a realistic NFL simulation. If you play ufc than you have ran into someone who just wants to take you down and transition with cheese
If they add Tyson, Lewis, Holyfield, klitschkos, Dubois, AJ, mayweather, Ruiz jr and many many more. Then fix the Bluetooth punches and give us a Season pass maybe to grind something it would be a solid 9.5/10! For me also a 7/10

Obviously the issues: quitting,8 rounds only, 8th round glitch, draw glitch, punch tracking, running around the ring not taxing stamina, NO CLINCHING (which I’m surprised more people don’t talk about.. But aside from the issues I do find the game bland sometimes and I feel like maybe partnering up with like I don’t know maybe 2k would be a good idea.. Fighters should be bought from a store, gear also, customizing your trainers, your ring walk songs, making multiple covers so you can get like Mayweather in it etc. just ideas

I believe they charged full price for a game that is half way done. The game has way too many issues, they should have just kept the game a secret until it was polished. I’ve had the game for close to a month now and I’ve come to terms that Steel City did a good job at trying to give us a game that felt real. Yes there are glaring flaws within the game but most games being released today are mostly betas that the companies will update throughout its cycle. NBA 2k does this every year. 2k is never polished on release. The one thing 2k has is resources to make updates more often than the likes of a company like Steel City. Nonetheless I believe that Undisputed has tons of potential and if they continue to update the game and improve the game as well as giving us more new fighters, the game will become more competitive. Cause when you have two players that want to box and not just spam power punches to the body, the game is fucking fun (when it works). Keep at it Steel City. We want this game to be good. Fight Night was fun but hard core boxing fans want a sim style game. Also let us create a fighter and bring that build online. With the traits each individual fighter has, if they implement a way where we can create a fighter and we can grind in career to unlock certain traits to make our fighter how we want and take that online. It would be like playing my career in 2k and grind to make your build more catered to your style of play.
For my standard, I would say about a 6.2-6.6/10….But I’m basing that on a simulation, features, immersion & overall fun factor standpoint….Very good gameplay with issues but very bare bones features & modes….

Out of all the issues the game has and trust me it has issues 🤦♂️ my main gripe is not being able to throw a 4 regular punch combination without gassing and having to reset.. It didn’t have this cut off the ring problem in the 1.0 launch version 🤦♂️ I hated the power spammers too but that created this running meta 🤦♂️ and I don’t see enough people talking about this 🤔 I put in about 280 hours since launch and I’m officially done I’ll tap in at the the next update to see what’s good but the game has become more frustrating with all the issues and it has so much potential 🤦♂️

The Runners in the game are going to ruin the gameplay if they keep playing the way they do. If your strategy is to back away for 90% of the round and then throw a couple of jabs, you're the main reason this game is going downhill. It's cowardly and boring as hell. If you need to have a win on your record that badly, I feel sorry for you.

I dont think updates can fix it. Its too flawed. So many bugs. I've put 400hrs into it. I definitely have a love hate relationship with it 😂

It's your opinion and I respect it but charge this game 80 € is insane. They prolly make the game better but if we accept and trying to excuse them like it's their first game we don’t give a good signal. They knew everybody was waiting for a real boxing game and played with us. What we have seen before and what we have now is night and day! I think u are too kind with 7/10... For me it's like 3,5 or 4. Yes the game will be better cuz they have no choice but it's a bad signal to give to all the industry to buy games in this state.... So every new studio will do it and we will give them credits for that. I mean they droppin a game with bad basics and of course they will say we a little company so we listen the community bla bla bla. Just my opinion. And it's our fault too cuz we buy it without thinking. We are boxe addicts 😂

@crooksthagreat8703 Sorry for my english. I just mean the game is broken and claiming they are a young studio is weak. In this case they should fix the basics and make free contents. Like No Man Sky or Cd Project. But they take the money with dlcs and don't fix the main problem. I hope " una remontada" from Steel City

The Runners in the game are going to ruin the gameplay if they keep playing the way they do. If your strategy is to back away for 90% of the round and then throw a couple of jabs, you're the main reason this game is going downhill. It's cowardly and boring as hell. If you need to have a win on your record that badly, I feel sorry for you.

It’s a great game thats only getting better and the punch tracking has to do with the poor servers when you see the bars at the top that’s the issue
I agree but the punch tracking can be bad regardless of connection
