CaveMan Short Film

During production I stayed pretty close to the intended script however after a first cut the story didn’t really have any narrative drives. It was suggested that I add a background voice to give the story more direction so I did that.
Although I had permission to film them the actors I used were fairly reluctant to participate and it comes off in the film a little especially in the scenes when they have dialogue.
I filmed some of the scenes how I wanted them to look after post production and not flat and correctly exposed, which lead to issues in post with lack of information to edit.
In future similar projects I see the benefit of a larger crew. Trying to juggle between handling the camera, sound blocking out a scene and directing was hard work.
