There are a few companies which do loans like mortgages for boats but I think the rates of interest are pretty high - personal loans might be an option? 🤔 but can't really give advice on that sorry!
:grins: I have been considering making the move onto water for years (too many years!) but as a somewhat 'widebeam' 60 year old I do ponder the narrow {pun :)} confines. Also, both me and my missus are 'chainsaw' snorers so we have to sleep in separate rooms so I reckon we'd need a 70' boat with two cabins at opposite ends :lol:

Our electricity is self generated via our solar set up and we compost toilet waste. Mooring costs a little per month and boat prices vary from very cheap to very expensive!

Hey! It honestly not bad, the boats get very cosy in winter. The fire is pretty much kept on 24/7 and keeps the whole home toasty
