    The province has since changed the notice period last week from 4 month to 3 full notice for vacant possession for a buyer. The 4 month notice is still in play if you are looking to move back into the property for yourself or a close proximity family member. What are your thoughts on these changes? Leave your thoughts below 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

    I'm having issues with my landlords cz they refusecto do legal documents when I ask then they use coersive control as well as abuse of authority power & threats , extortion & non legal evictions & non legal rent increase forms but triggering my neurological disorder Epilepsy etc & upsetting my pets they said could have & another tenant died here from accute stress over medicate while waiting for tooth extraction & im widow single mom paying the rent for 8 yrs straight & 2 yrs my self @1800 a month included & they talk down to me after 8 yrs of renting ; said its their rules, their religion , their house.
    They also stated i had no rights to call bylaw on myself to find out my rights about max pets, when I was calling for me not them.
    The landlords tried hand writing an eviction notice without any signatures or phone number & its written by illiterate immigrants only been here for 20 yrs i was born here 50 yrs ago.
    They still refuse to use or fill out the real legal forms for RTB. I sense some big red flags +using 3 alias with the house as well.

      @@jenncaldwell5430 Canada is scamming the world about being a country with rule of law.
      Law is on paper only . Canada needed cheap labour that’s why so many immigrant were invited . Now they need new types of relavant labor and they need new contracts with other countries based on updated international dynamics . and so obviously they want old slaves to leave or be invalid or be neutralized . U might have lived here for three generations or more but , u might be irrelevant to their new economy plans. Becuz they get free slave labour called “international students” to do small time jobs , and once they r done they kick them out of the country.
      U see decriminalization of drugs , homelessness, prisons filled with students , empty condos and houses but homelessness among locals . Earlier drug peddlers knew that they will not be able to live with non criminal people becuz they will be reported. But now all types of criminals have been incentivized to move into neighborhoods that were once sage spaces for women . It’s very much a deliberate effort . No one politician can be blamed as it is a long term plan made decades back .
      If ask for help as a woman they will ask u to go to shelter. That’s their job . They r paid to make u feel unwelcome . Police will support perpetrators. They will literally encourage the perpetrators. And so obviously perpetrators will feel thrilled in harassing women .
      Stalking , ganging up against ppl who they think are less supported is the hobby of psychopaths. The more u ask for help the more u
      Will feel vulnerable becuz criminals will get a boost each time u complain .
      Better to make a strategic fundamental move . U need a long term plan and u need to creative . U need to cooperate and band with decent women . The more u are around women who think men will help , the worse ur situation will be . Cuz in this ecosystem there are criminal men everywhere, it’s their time to prance around. Good men are as busy barely surviving as u r . Find brave , smart educated women . Women continually looking for sex with out responsibilities, make-up ideas , free stuff, and basically stupid stuff - are an impediment . Look for educated females . Educate dignified move differently , they dress differently, they dont look for attention .

    and another 10k potential landlords decide it's too risky and leave the potential rental empty. Good job BC government. Time for government to get out of the rental business and go back to contract enforcements.

    • @iamkylemark
      @iamkylemark  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have many clients where we are now liquidating their rentals and some who want to invest outside the province and country. Since the politicians cannot provide enough housing the country relies on landlords for housing. They are making it far too restrictive and complicated which is not good. I appreciate your insights they are spot on. Are you a landlord yourself?

    All they do is punish. They should stop obstructing lives. Nobody hired them for that.

    • @iamkylemark
      @iamkylemark  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      There needs to be a framework so that tenants have protection but the NDP are just punishing home owners at this point and are not doing enough consultation to see what the long term effects will be.

    • @HuxtableTV

      @@iamkylemark Of course. There objective is not uplifting tenants - as they couldn't care less. The objective is misappropriation alone, strictly for their own purposes, good soviet marxist style.
      Ask me. I lived and breathed their despicable system, yet their non-stop indoctrination did not succeed. It is not that I condone criminal level capitalism, it is always, everywhere, that the golden middle sustains.

    Investors 😂 you mean greedy speculators who have destroyed Canadian Real Estate. NDP is doing the right things which will improve affordability.

    • @iamkylemark
      @iamkylemark  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I disagree with that completely. If there were no speculators or investors here in B.C. housing would be a disaster and pricing would continue to rise even quicker. The province and the city of Vancouver has done nothing until very recently to build out purpose built rentals. Without investors there would be no housing for people to live in and rent.

    If a landlord wishes to evict a tenant becuz they wish to increase rent for the next tenant , they can use criminal means to do so. They can harass a tenant in many ways if they themselves live in the property or have their agents living on the same property.
    -Interrupting the tenant by displacing , trashing their belongings, their food , their groceries
    - making noise all day.
    - renting rooms to goons to live in the same house , who harass a woman . In spite of contract that says , no men will share the common areas
    - invites goons to do drugs on the property to make the env uncomfortable for a woman, in spite of the contract that states no smoking and or drugs on the property.
    .
    Canada has no way to enforce the laws . Rule of law is on paper only and worth little . One will have to be well connected to be safe .
    Police or tenancy board will not help at all . The laws to help tenants are on paper only .

    • @iamkylemark
      @iamkylemark  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I completely disagree with your assessment. The residential tenancy rules completely favour tenants. There has been a case where a tenant went to prison and the landlord could not evict the tenant holding his property hostage. Landlords are liquidating their properties as no one wants to be a landlord in Vancouver anymore.

If you are looking for advice on how to deal with a tenant or a landlord I don’t have a property management license and your best resource would be speaking directly to the Residential Tenancy Branch.
