That's a new twist on the Wipeout! Now Chance, make a one trailer Sky Diver. lol =) The Diver's my favorite and always has been my favorite since I first laid eyes on it back in 1988 at a small carnival. Most shows now days are getting rid of their Sky Diver, sadly. :( I know why, because it's a 2 trailer ride. It'd be cool if Chance made the Sky Diver a one trailer ride somehow, with more lightweight cars on it. I bet every show out there would want a new one trailer Sky Diver then!
Funny you mention that! SCBB just announced yesterday that a Freestyle ride will replace the Cliffhanger ride; it's called Surge, unfortunately, not Twister.
I wish a fair that comes to me had that.Do you guys still make the thunderbolt? If you do then I have and idea. What if you make the gondolas on the ride flip freely instead of just rocking? That would make it even funner and all that you would need is a counter weight and a electric break for the seats to stop moving when on/off loading and then once the ride begins the breaks cut off and a new LED package and a built in stereo system. That would be a grate ride and it would be a new twist on an old classic. I hope you guys make it happen.
You will see that they actually call some rides different things at various parks and/or carnivals. They do this with roller coasters too when they move them from one park to another.
This is a beautiful Trabant! Maybe someday you will sell an HO Scale version and then I'll retheme it "Dreamscape" and the scenery will have images of old UK rave flyers from 1992. ;)
I feel like this ride is missing a trick here, if I designed it, I would have made it so it also does arm: clockwise wheel: also clockwise, change it half way through the cycle to add a different flavour of movement. but eh, still a good ride I'm sure.
Al Reyes El Sombrero used to be El Sombrero on steroids, until they got lazy (or cheap), and started running it on a much shorter program (at SFGA). The classic program is: sinple rotation, then the addition of the eccentric motors to produce the scrambler effect, raise the boom for "upsy-daisy", reverse the rotation for reverse "upsy-daisy ", lower the boom with eccentric motor running, cut the eccentric motors for simple rotation, and slow the rotation to stop the ride. The classic program requires 2.5- 3 minutes to run Just about every ride capable of complex or multiple motions has been dumbed down to one or two simple actions. Carnivals and fairs still tend to run their rides old school style, but parks are really shortchanging their patrons these days. A lot of riders don't realize how great some of these flat rides really are!
Bright lighting is the whole point- what ride has dim lights. It is called an ATTRACTION... And really, how much can anyone change the "programming"?- it just spins, gets lifted while spinning, and lowers while spinning and you're done.
Beautiful Ride! Very well done Chance Rides! I think this ride will be a hit on the Midways for years to come. :-)
I love these updated versions of old rides. Like the old roulette wheel
Looks like a midway winner!! Congrats!
Great pitch! Cool looking updates to a classic ride!
Love the video ! Love both the Trabant and Casino rides whom are the classics .
This ride would be great with a sci fi theme.

Pandemonium @ Great Escape and Cyborg @ Six Flags New England
I wish they would bring this back to the San Diego County Fair :(
Acro1954 I’m from San Diego
Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk should get 1. In fact, if they did, I bet they'd name it "Twister"

Hully-Gully-prinzip!

This is one of many Trabant incarnations.
Can you guys bring back the Chaos? I know this is the replacement but couldn't yolu still manufacture both models and sell them separately?
This would be awesome with a different name and a sci fi themed back wall.

3G's! Oh yea!
Long Program...😂🤪
Very nice looking ride . The lighting is way too bright and could use better programing .
