One thing I wonder is I understand walking the hog and that works for me about 80% of the time but what do I do during the 20% of the time where my hog is either not hitting shots/hooks or playing very passive do I just play like normal then?
You have no falloff damage, I would suggest you try to get a pick from the backline. Wait for opportunities to sleep/nade the enemy. Pressure with damage. Take angles. Confirm kills. Etc. I suggest you learn to be aggressive if you want to climb on support. You can't rely on random people to carry you each game.
@@eliesaad also if you think walking the hog is you getting carried by your hog you're wrong you make as much opportunity for your hog as he does for you its a coop play style my friend and I duo hog ana a lot just cause it feels broken when you're both working in tandum with eachother
This is the first time I’ve heard the “walk the hog” play style. Do you do this with other supports like Kiri/Bap/Moira? Do you also do the same with Mauga and Orisa?
As a Diamond Ana main on PC, this Ana seemed to be a bit too passive and reactive. She was not the reason for a single fight won. Her teammates were really good, and even with the mistakes they made, the enemy team somehow managed to make even worse mistakes. I don't know if it's because the gameplay was on Console that mL was a bit too nice to them? He did mention that they need to be a bit more confident though, but it felt like his commentary were a bit reserved, but was on point with his tips which are completely correct with that comp and the way their teammates played.
