I work at a sign company called Intersign National in Baltimore. There are special drill bits for plexiglass. We get ours from Mcmaster Carr. You will be able to drill any type of Acrylic or Polycarb with those.
Cool sign and great music in the background. Lighting has come a long way since I was building signs. We were still doing neon back in the olden times. Lol A little suggestion for mounting the plastic to the sign face without a through fastener. We would weld studs to the backside of the face and match up the plastic before the face was installed onto the face. You do want to make the holes in the plastic a little oversized for expansion consideration.
Somebody probably already mentioned this but you should have a small logo plaque with your branding. Even if it’s just a sticker like the car dealers like to stick on the back of a car.
so acrilic is explosive if you brake it you can tell what it is by scratching it the sound. what you might want is modafied acrilic or lexan both are softer but lexan you can drill it bend it and it wont brake lexan is best for drilling cutting and manipilating. but the acrillic looks best more like glass
Simple , abstract , modern and functional.
I love the color. 👍
Drilling backwards in plexiglass works great, keeping the bit from catching and cracking it. Literally was taught it in A&P school. Love the channel!
I know I don't need to tell you but, Wyatt is the man!!

Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends fab on. Weld on. Keep making. God bless.
Super professional work. Get ready for more sign work....you have set a new higher standard for costume signs. Good luck.

I bought a couple vehicles from Vinton Ford when I lived in Roanoke and worked at the N&W
That green color looks awesome! I’ve been wanting to see this one done. It looks incredible!
Thank you! Cheers!

I saw the sign first and the video later. It looks really good. It looks weird not being the ford dealer though.

Sign grade is called Lexan it’s very strong and yes uv resistant
11:25 They make inflatable paint booths that would work great for that job or you could just powder coat that sucker..

Are you planning to build a painting booth in your shop?
Blue pc was acrylic second pc was poly carb, thats your difference
Nice work!
How do you pricing a project like this?
Why is the plasma cutter way less violent than in most of your videos when cutting aluminum? Is it because aluminum is non ferrous?
Love the sign! Do you have a link to where you bought the LED's?
Thank you! Sadly i dont, i bought them from a local sign shop who gets them wholesale somewhere...sorry! Thanks for watching, - Tay
use blunt drill bits for acrylic
Nice idea!

the vine yard one
