in future if that happens you can use a cotter pin to hold the shift cable in place and you will be able to still somewhat select 4x4. There will be slop in the shifter, but you will be able to shift. Other option have is have a screw driver with you and you can manually pry the t-case shifter.
Yah just asked the same question, I’m building up my renegade and was thinking of doing just a spacer lift, I just want some more clearance, articulation is not necessity for me. I want it to be capable but budget. And my off-roading mostly includes b service roads with a two feet of snow or extremely ruff fields.
After watching this video, at the very beginning I already guessed what happened, but the end I decided to go look at mine and it was hooked up, but the inside parts are missing. Do you have part numbers for the parts?

Usually linkage bushing. Mine broke this weekend. Little plastic piece and easy fix.
do they make or could one be made of brass for replacement?
they had little rubber parts on amazon.

spacer lifts are good, i've had it for almost 2yrs now. I've recently changed to bilstein and ome for rear and will be instailling the fronts.
