The feeling of becoming and being chased by Micheal Meyers and Predator in Ghosts are some of the most fond memories I’ve had from the cod franchise.

Seeing Payday 2 here reminded me of another movie easter egg, when you put on a mask for the first time, you get an achievement called "No one cared who I was..." and it's description is "...until I put on the mask", which is one of Bane's quotes from Nolan's Dark Knight

And I’ve played CoD ghosts since it came out and I’ve never known about it
If you get killed as the predator you “nuke” the map. You set off the classic wrist nuke and kill everyone on the map, but it doesn’t end the match.
The Delorian in Generation zero actually comes back on fire when you go to the location again after reloading the game.
Also isn't a Delorean. But a Volvo, which is a Swedish company.

I love the Indiana Jones Wild Wasteland from New Vegas the fact that Tommy vercettis mansion is basically Scarface’s mansion and the 45 long slide from terminator being in RE4
The 45 long slide is actually a reference to Killer7 in which one of the characters, Kaede Smith uses it. The weapon itself is even called that lol
i have fallout new Vegas and when i first saw Indiana Jones i freaked out
People hated ghost but they had the best interactive maps and Easter eggs
(looking at cod black out ) Probably we were to harsh on Ghost.
Ghost was probably one of my favorites because of how unique it was. Instead of having zombies like usual, it instead had an alien version, with an actual ending. The multiplayer was good, but the extinction game mode had me entertained for a long time
@@correcto987 I agree. I did like the campaign. Maybe the campaign needed to make a bit more sense but I still liked it.
Cool fact for ghost fans: hulu has game trailers and if you go to cod ghosts, there is a trailer where you play as hesh instead of logan and you get to see logan's face. I'm also pretty sure your already ghosts at that point meaning that you were originally a ghost in the beginning of the game. The trailer is on the campaign map No Man's Land and from what I remember, logan tells you to put on your mask and the trailer ends there (from what I remember). So, if you have hulu you should totally check it out. I don't have hulu anymore so if it's not there anymore, you can't find it anywhere else of my knowledge.

The fact that Zombie Army 4 has a Shaun of the dead Easter egg in it has convinced me to buy it.

I have a possible easter egg for ya, Black Ops Cold War, zombies breakout: when you first spawn into the Alpine map and work your way down you will find a red building with a large metal door (to the left of it are some log cabins for reference) on the left side of this red building there will be shadow casted on it that looks like a certain creepy clown...

I really appreciated and enjoyed how a good portion of the trophy/achievements in dead army trilogy and dead army 4 are titled from zombie movie quotes as well.
Also theres an easter egg to stranger things

Btw for cod ghosts, you may have said it already but in on mission forgot which one, but you can save a soldier named Pvt. Ryan and if you do save him you get a trophy “Saving Private Ryan”

I usually dont like commentary in these types of videos but you get straight to the point and your voice is so relaxing. I do genuinely enjoy the commentary you give
The last Easter Egg was also a reference to where the facehugger was hiding after it came off the face.

The second one is not a DeLorean but a Saab 900 (Swedish car) and this make the Easter egg even cooler ;)
No. It's a DeLorean from the end of Back To The Future where doc goes to the future and when he comes back, its fuel is organic waste (indicated by the garbage bins at the back) and it can fly.

This car looks like the DeLorean and it flies and has all the accessories BUT the car underneath is not a DMC 12 but a Saab 900 (Swedish car) "disguised" as the DeLorean from back to the future.

If you search "Saab 900" on Google you will see that this is this car but with the DeLorean from back to the future accessories (and it can fly like the one in the movie too)
But the car itself is not a DMC 12 (DeLorean) like the original one in the movie.

Left 4 Dead 2's The Passing campaign has a great reference to Zack Snyder's Dawn of the Dead remake from 04. I forget what it says exactly, but it basically references the bit where the one girl pretty much gets a bunch of people killed by going after the dog they put a utility vest on with food in it and sent to the gun shop owner Andy.
During the mission I Got A Job For You in Days Gone, Rikki mentions how she grew up in a small town outside of Oregon. During her story she mentions the city of Willamette being overrun during the start of the outbreak. Maybe a nod to Dead Rising?
I am honestly surprised you never mention one resident evil game, considering that series has a veritable treasure trove of easter eggs of all kinds. Like one of Leon's extra weapons in RE4 being called the Matilda, redrum being on the wall of one room in the RPD in OG RE2, Jack saying 'groovy' during the chainsaw fight AND the Dinner scene in RE7 being a straight reference to Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Jill's extra costume that references T2 in REmake, etc.
You should do Easter eggs and references in sunset overdrive! That game has a lot and I feel like it would make a good episode!
In Cod Ghosts there is a Saving Private Ryan Reference in the mission "All for Nothing" where you slide off ship debris and kill four enemies saving a soldier named Private Ryan
When they release, I hope you'll do videos dedicated to the Easter Eggs, if any, that'll be found in FNAF: SB and Necromunda: Hired Gun.
Ghosts was one of the best in my opinion I loved it and still play it

The Akira bike ee was pretty cool too in cyberpunk and ghostrunner. I know it's not really pop culture but it's pretty cool
the Jaws easter egg in Fallout 4, where there's a tipped over boat that has a mutated dolphin corpse trying to eat a now skeleton with a bandana referencing one of the characters in the movie who dies by the shark
Even though it's old, I think MW original's "I like to keep this for close encounters" reference deserved a spot, but the viscera cleanup secret was more than enough

What about the other, more obvious movie easter egg in DOOM Eternal? You know how you kill the spirits with the plasma rifles microwave beam? That's a reference to Ghostbusters.
In dead island (The original, not remastered), there's a location where you can find a guy with a chainsaw and a killer mask that looks like Jason's Mask! He lives in a little hut while there's a bunch of zombies around him.
There’s also several masks in PAYDAY 2 that are Easter Eggs. There’s 3 pairs of sunglasses from a DLC called the Reservoir Dogs Pack. There’s also 2 masks and a pair of sunglasses which are references to the movie HEAT. The masks being called Hockey Mask, Hockey Heat, and the sunglasses simply being called Heat. It should be noted that the Heat sunglasses are an infamous item. Another movie reference locked behind infamy levels is the Guy Faux mask. More commonly know as the Anonymous mask, which it is titled in the game. The mask is worn by the main character V in the movie V for Vendetta. However the mask is more likely a reference to the hacker group which goes by the name Anonymous.

Fun fact about the generation zero easter egg is that the delorean easter egg is actually a saab 900 which is a swedish built car. So extra points to Avalanche for the attention to detail

With the viscera cleanup detail egg, I can just imagine your cleaner just sighing and throwing the facehugger into the clean-up bin, while it leaks acidic blood. To be fair, you do see far more traumatic things quite often in that game.
The facehugger is a reference to the scene after it lets go of Kane in the infirmary and climbs up above to die and then subsequently the carcass dropped on Ripley.

My favourite movie reference in Cyberpunk 2077 is the Lt. Mower Cyber-psycho sighting. Because the location is designed to look like the iconic waterway fight scene in Ghost in the Shell and that the character is heavily inspired by and based on Major Motoko Kusanagi. The name Lt. Mower is probably a pun on the military rank of Lieutenant Major.
Or a sneaky double egg for Lawn Mower man a 90's cyberpunk flick.
I remember hearing Micheal Myers and Predator in Ghost ruined the game for them and broke the immersion that it's soldiers fighting in a war. I also remember how ppl argued that Predator has a chance against soldiers but Myers would get destroyed thus also ruining Ghost.
