To answer some of the frequent questions: "Kalli teleports away" Two things to prevent this. The first is to make sure your initial Witherhoard shot isn't too early. You want it to hit right as her shield goes down in the middle, right before she teleports away. The second is to make sure there's constant ticking damage after she teleports. Throw the grenade in the spot where she teleports right before she does, make sure there's no gaps in damage after, and the constant damage from the grenades and scorch will keep her there. "Standing on the plate kills me" The plate is split into thirds, and 2/3 of those will have a blight on them that will kill you with a blast. Stay in the 1/3 that doesn't have a blight. "Not dealing enough damage" The easiest way to increase your damage is to equip Riven's Curse or Transcendent Blessing mods. Secondly, make sure you're throwing the grenades all over Kalli, and not just at the ground. Otherwise, it's likely that you'll just need a little bit more practice to get into the rhythmn of it, which will come with time. Try to make sure there's as little downtime as possible, as you should nearly always be either throwing grenades or re-proccing Sunbracers. It might take a few attempts, but once you get a feel for it you'll see how much damage can be made up from being familiar alone. "How to keep heavy ammo after swapping" Starting with a Bi-pod rocket will keep more ammo when you swap. "Can this be done on Hunter / Titan" Both Hunter and Titan don't have the ability to consistently defeat Kalli as quickly as this. They can defeat Kalli in a longer manner, but ultimately this setup on Warlock is by the fastest and most reliable, and the other two do not compare right for this farm. "Can I do this with other people" Definitely! Even one extra person will make this easier. Have them stand near the plate, and not on it, and deal whatever damage they can. As long as they're not killing the Thrall or luring them away from you and your grenades, you'll be able to do this the same, just with extra damage. "Why not do this with LFG / other people" As I mentioned already, there's numerous valid reasons as to why somebody will not, or cannot, do this with a group. Maybe there's time constraints where they can only sporadically do a run here or there, maybe it's connection issues, or maybe it's simply personal preference. There's a number of completely valid reasons as to why this would be preferable solo, even when a group is more efficient.
In case people were wondering. Yes you can still get the transcendent blessing mod. You have to do the offering of the oracle bounty from petra. Then go turn the offering in at the place were mara used to be in the Dreaming city. This will give you a bounty that will say "go do x activity while ascendant" after completion it will reward you with the mod. Only place the mod on some armor you dont mind deleting it is a consumable mod so if you swap it while on armor you will not get it back you have to dismantle armor if you want the mod back. (Think rivens curse only comes on reverie dawn gear but ive only seen it ob my hunter, might be bugged but you really only need like 1 or 2 transcendent mods to make it a comfy farm)
@cryptkeeper4727 Mmmm I've only ever gotten from completing the bounty, you get from the offering of the oracle after you go give the offering. I can't speak of other sources but I know you can atleast get one bounty guaranteed a week. Now whether or not it's a bounty you can do currently is a different story. I know sometimes it's a ascendant challenge bounty for a ascendant challenge that's not currently on rotation so there's that.
how is this supposed to work exactly? I have the Offering to the Oracle Consumable under my Quest tab. I go to the Oracle, there are two options Approach and Present Offering. If I do the latter nothing happens. No chest. never mind, did not know I have to go through the portal to queens court and there was the chest.
@@niqumukize present the offering and a portal will open in the middle of the gyrosphere. Go through the portal and you will see Quenn Maria's thrown and there will be a chest next to it on the right side.
Cheers for sharing eso I've spent a few evenings farming and now have all the patterns👍. To everyone else if you only need a few patterns for each weapon it might be worth using the deepsight harmonizers as the drop rate becomes very low for the red boarders once you have most of the weapon patterns.
Been trying this for a while now. Periodically I'll be in a great run and when I step on the plate, no thrall will spawn. Today it's been almost every run at least once.
Did this farm at the start of the season out of just pure boredom. It took 288 runs solo to get all the patterns. Definitely preferred it this way instead of LFG.

I don't know what is wrong. I Wither, I grenade the spot she spawns in, I snap to proc Sunbracers, BOOP, spam grenades, SHE STILL TELEPORTS. There was no break in damage. The numbers were ticking. She still dipped out. Kept spamming grenades too. MORE BOOPS. Nope. Gone. CLAP dead.

I like this because every lfg post is demanding that I have Anarchy and Star Eater Scales when it's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much easier to just run it normally and it cuts out the gatekeeping
@@andvan5171 it's as simple as it gets, thankfully. normally defeating Riven in the raid and getting a key would be locked to one character per week, just like any other loot. but when Last Wish becomes the pinnacle reward raid for the current week, that lockout is lifted, and you can do this over again to get as many keys as you can hold (which is 10, evidently). after you do the Queenswalk encounter and finish the raid, if you want to use all those keys at once, there's nothing stopping you.

If anyone is curious, I was able to stop Kalli from teleporting using witherhoard yesterday consecutively, I don't know if this will help but after she brings you in the air and knocks you back, wait a second and a half and make sure you hit her with the witherhoard shot and run straight to the plate.
@@vraxo8953 it isn't the featured raid at the moment so you can't farm it back to back but the video still works, i just tested it 4 minutes ago and worked fine.
You don’t specifically need witherhoard either, just anything that does tick/“dot” damage. I was having trouble hitting the witherhoard shot because I’m a bot so I switched to necrotic grips and just meele’d her as she turned white to teleport, ran to the plate, then swap sunbracers and it worked literally everytime. Keeping the meele up is the real killer here for this fight, definitely doable but it takes trial and error!
Awesome stuff. You make it look easy but it is not. I can’t get her to stay in one spot yet. But I did spend dozens of hours in eater of worlds to get the ring chest solo. Finally it became quite simple when it seemed impossible at first. Fun times. But a couple of questions- is witherhoard required- im on console so load times makes exotic swapping especially deadly. I like the thought process. Perhaps just using osteo alone could get the job done. The swap load time is the real buggar. FYI they haven’t entirely closed off the back door- strand is sweet. BUT, they have patched the fight itself- u wipe and start again from scratch
The only way I could get this to work was to VPN my location to another country...had to tank my connection. Prior to doing so, at half health she would teleport away no matter what I did.
Anarchy is more forgiving then wither hoard. Right after she pushes you back she will Put down her shield and teleport as she is turning white to teleport is optimal but anytime withing the point of her putting her shield down to teleport is when you stick her with anarchy. Do not use any effects to agro her as it might screw it up. I've been getting it consistantly. Anarchy is more forgiving because you have 6 shots instead of 1 witherhoard skillshot. Before she starts teleworking make sure someone's activating the plate and have others stand by the plate for dps. As soon as she teleports get the plate person off and unload. You can 6 person no mic this as long as you get someone in chat to stand on the plate. Takes a minute to kill her and then after the drop you should already have the map open to reload into last wish. I went through 80+ flags in 4 hours.
What's the range for the incinerator snap? you seemed real far away from the thrall when you went to proc sunbracers. I thought the snap blew up a few feet in front of you. Love the Vids, keep up the awesome work
@@peterdubinsky5389 celestial fire doesnt have range problems but instead doesnt proc sunbracers as consistently so by fixing it i meant they should make it proc sunbraces like the snap does. also its a known issue that bungie is investigating. thats why i said i hoped to see it fixed soon

1. you need to be doing continuous damage to her, even if a second goes by without her getting damaged, she will teleport but thats why people use sunbracers for this, it prevents her from moving. 2. on the plate you stand on to spawn the thrall, it should be divided into three sections with a taken ball above two sides of the plate, you stand where they are not any balls there
She has to take constant damage the whole time, she will teleport if she isn't taking damage. So you must stick witherhoard, then throw grenade where she spawns before she gets there to keep constant damage while you refresh grenades
Do you not do more damage with higher power Level? Cuz ur sunbraces only 1600, and does a powerlevel make it so strong that transzendent blessing becomes irrelevant?
Do you have to put the grenades right on her? You might get more damage if you surround her with them since you cannot damage her with multiple suns but you can stack the solar flares that come off of the grenade.
Welcome back from your break! I’ve also been playing Remnant 2 and BG3 but I might convince my buddy to try this to see if we can farm some weapons. Would this scale well with two or three people or do you think it’ll get wonky?
If all of you trying to do the same thing? Yes it probably get wonky as ypu both try to get melee kills and everything, but if one of your focuses on just killing thrall and bombarding her and the other focuses on debuffing her then it probably would go pretty well
For some reason she keeps going to the bomb phase early for me, so I'm going to take a break. Sad that my one friend who wants red boarders doesnt want to play this week
This farm is easy to do and coordinate off mic and while some people may want to solo farm this trust me when I say it’s way quicker to LFG for a couple more people and just go in there and nuke her. When LW is the weekly rotating raid you don’t even have to switch characters for the CP, just load straight back into LW and it’ll spawn everyone at the start of this encounter.
This is crazy. Wish it was still doable though. Looks like they nerfed the rate of thrawll spawns. Can barely even get to 1 million damage on Kalli now.

Exactly, I'm getting so close but I'm not getting that chunk of damage when she teleports, I suspect it's something to do with framerate. Sad really cause I did all bounties on all characters and got two mods, but I'm still coming up short.

you can do a lot of more damage if you throw the solar greandes on the ceiling bc if you throw them directly on a target the damage of the grenade doesnt stack only the blobs to but if u throw them on the ceiling only the blobs hit and they absolutely melt bosses

there definitely isn't room for error. ive played whats felt like perfect, no missed tractor rotations or delays to the plate, and only gotten 3.7mil. saying to add blessings or curses is redundant because the claim that there's wiggle room is in the run with no such mods
You have to Stick her with whiterhoard at the start right after her shield goes away Then you need to have contant damage Ticks on her, I guess you took too long to throw a nade and she tp away
Kalli teleports at half health no matter what on every run. Am I doing something wrong? Others have had this problem and suggest a vpn. Currently at 25 runs and haven't finished once due to the half health teleport.

you need to keep constant damage over time on her. The witherhoard when she is in the middle starts ticking and then before that runs out keep applying scorch to keep her there.

pro tip- solar nades do more damage dropping lava balls from the ceiling, just place one at her feet for the tick damage

@@peterdubinsky5389 celestial fire doesnt have range problems but instead doesnt proc sunbracers as consistently so by fixing it i meant they should make it proc sunbraces like the snap does. also its a known issue that bungie is investigating. thats why i said i hoped to see it fixed soon
It’s because even though this is a raid the light level requirement is low so the snap easily kills a thrall from 1/5 of the fireballs

I thought I was doin something wrong that would cause sunbracers to not work for me on occasion. I'm glad you mentioned it because I had no idea. I had pretty much just given up on using sunbracers.
Trying this now, doesn't work at all. She either disappears or I die instantly
1. you need to be doing continuous damage to her, even if a second goes by without her getting damaged, she will teleport but thats why people use sunbracers for this, it prevents her from moving.
2. on the plate you stand on to spawn the thrall, it should be divided into three sections with a taken ball above two sides of the plate, you stand where they are not any balls there

She has to take constant damage the whole time, she will teleport if she isn't taking damage. So you must stick witherhoard, then throw grenade where she spawns before she gets there to keep constant damage while you refresh grenades
How do you keep ammo when swapping weapons?
Do you not do more damage with higher power Level? Cuz ur sunbraces only 1600, and does a powerlevel make it so strong that transzendent blessing becomes irrelevant?

Do you have to put the grenades right on her? You might get more damage if you surround her with them since you cannot damage her with multiple suns but you can stack the solar flares that come off of the grenade.
Stick one on her three grenades on ceiling above her then put the last grenade on her again

Welcome back from your break! I’ve also been playing Remnant 2 and BG3 but I might convince my buddy to try this to see if we can farm some weapons. Would this scale well with two or three people or do you think it’ll get wonky?
If all of you trying to do the same thing? Yes it probably get wonky as ypu both try to get melee kills and everything, but if one of your focuses on just killing thrall and bombarding her and the other focuses on debuffing her then it probably would go pretty well

There is no chest for kali the rewards are just instantly given to you as soon as she dies

You can do it on her non rotation weeks once but you will only be able to do repeated runs when last wish is the pinnacle raid for the week
Only once per character so only once with warlock unless it’s the pinnacle
This farm is easy to do and coordinate off mic and while some people may want to solo farm this trust me when I say it’s way quicker to LFG for a couple more people and just go in there and nuke her. When LW is the weekly rotating raid you don’t even have to switch characters for the CP, just load straight back into LW and it’ll spawn everyone at the start of this encounter.

This is crazy. Wish it was still doable though. Looks like they nerfed the rate of thrawll spawns. Can barely even get to 1 million damage on Kalli now.

Exactly, I'm getting so close but I'm not getting that chunk of damage when she teleports, I suspect it's something to do with framerate. Sad really cause I did all bounties on all characters and got two mods, but I'm still coming up short.

So, what about merciless at the end or fourth horseman instead of heritage?
I assume heritage just because she has a higher crit multiplier than other bosses. But forth horseman or merciless will probably still work
@@dylanholm9995 okay cool, I unfortunately only have a fortissimo that has fourth times the charm and focused fury and no heritage so I figured that was a good question

you can do a lot of more damage if you throw the solar greandes on the ceiling bc if you throw them directly on a target the damage of the grenade doesnt stack only the blobs to but if u throw them on the ceiling only the blobs hit and they absolutely melt bosses

@@Breve_ not really i don’t remember the height of kalis ceiling but as long as they aren’t crazy high i end up doing was more damage then with just putting them on the boss

I didn't find the transcending blessing mod...is this a raid mod and what can I use instead this Main mod...for this build.

there definitely isn't room for error. ive played whats felt like perfect, no missed tractor rotations or delays to the plate, and only gotten 3.7mil. saying to add blessings or curses is redundant because the claim that there's wiggle room is in the run with no such mods
sometimes kali randomly teleports halfway through the encounter when i’m dealing damage with the grenades is there a reason for this

You have to Stick her with whiterhoard at the start right after her shield goes away
Then you need to have contant damage Ticks on her, I guess you took too long to throw a nade and she tp away

Kalli teleports at half health no matter what on every run. Am I doing something wrong? Others have had this problem and suggest a vpn. Currently at 25 runs and haven't finished once due to the half health teleport.
How long did it take to get a pattern to drop? (if you dont already have them)
so after i reach her at 2.5 m dmg , she always tp away

I think he just means this is the last time this raid is in rotation this season. You should still be able to do this next season.

Melee kick-start always give you a bit of energy regardless of charges. Consuming charges just makes it give more
When you use it you get energy back and then additional energy for each charge
why does the boss keep teleporting away from the plate
you need to keep constant damage over time on her. The witherhoard when she is in the middle starts ticking and then before that runs out keep applying scorch to keep her there.
I'm having the same issue. I'm pretty sure I'm doing as good of damage on her as you can. I'm missing something he didn't mention in the video
Seems like you might need to step on the safe section of the plate every so often. He does it every ability cycle.
