- MG Gloster is the third all-new product from SAIC-owned carmaker. Set to challenge Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner and Mahindra Alturas, the Gloster will be MG's first premium 7-seater SUV in India. Available in both 6 and 7 seater versions, the Gloster is priced between Rs 28.98 lakh - Rs 35.38 lakh (ex-showroom). Just so you know, the Gloster’s base variants (Super & Smart) get a single turbo Diesel engine (2.0L) that is good for 161bhp. Top two trims get a 2.0L twin-turbo diesel that we drove. This engine puts out a maximum power output of 215bhp and 470Nm of peak torque. Therefore on paper. It’s the most powerful in its class. But does it have enough performance to beat all its rivals in real world conditions as well. We also tell you about its features, mileage, etc in this video.

I will mostly use this for office commute and once in three months highway use of 1000 kms. Your reply will be very helpful for me. Reason for Amaze is sedan, CVT and NCAP 4 star rating. My highway speed is not more than 80. Any alternative for this sir in the budget of 9.5.
The Amaze CVT would suit your requirements just fine. In case you want to explore other segments, I would suggest you to wait for the new-generation i20 that’s coming in November.
