There is a reason many power skating coaches are figure skaters. She is pure efficiency. Hockey players are famous for working twice as hard to go half as fast. Of corse it helps to have world class legs.
Crazy to see how much better they are at the basics of skating- like dude, we would do like two skating drills (maybe) just to warm up, after 7th grade and then it’s immediately shooting and warming goalies up before we start running plays. This is like hockey camp shit. To think if a team focused more on these skating drills, how much quicker they would be
@@JustinLaem I guess that is true! I play hockey and went through a lot of the same things when my sister tried to teach me figure skating so this was so funny to see the coach learn too. Although I think Gabby was a little bit of a more patient teacher than my sister...🤣
This was really interesting to actually see the difference between hockey and figure skate training routines, anyway liked music liked video gogo girl coach our Coach Chippy. Stepping our from your comfort zone is not easy and when its not stepping, its leaping out to other end. It can be really hard, remember the difference as soccer player to pick up skates and try to play hockey. I was fast in ice but never learned how to slow down well, so was rocket going forward but many times had to bumb into wall to kill the rest of speed 😂😂 I give big hand to both of you for doing this!
Coach chip wassup style god I came to this comment section to tell everyone that god has a certain roll for you and as long as you play you’re roll god is just as happy as you making the nhl I know everyone wants to play in the big leagues but sometimes that might not be you’re roll so like I said before as long as you play you’re roll instead of being a hotshot Mr I I’m the best type god will be just as proud as you as if you were in n the nhl Ps I’m not hating or saying anything to attack people just a word of kindness pls don’t take personal and as always 😎style and flow baby
