Installed the 500 Madness spoiler extension. Fixed a few imperfections and painted it black before installing.

Great job. The only part I wouldn't have painted and left "raw" is where the 3m tape applies to the extension so the tape isn't biting onto mostly black paint.

Just tape? I'd be afraid of that eventually delaminating and flying off.

DumbDuck44 I check it occasionally espically after driving in rain and it's holding up really good so far.

You should add 3M Adhesion promoter on the surface then place the double sided tape on it. It will stick like cement. Thats what I use on my mustang side scoops! Has never flown off!

they have been using tape to hold spoilers on for decades. Remember it on a citation X-11 and never had an issue. I can only assume that the quality of the tape has gotten better since the early 80's.

There’s also the option of silicone body glue lol the really good kind
