So grateful to hear about this old system and how it helps us on all levels. The old paradigm of looking at people as a mechanism with deteriorating parts is slowly going to be replaced with these fresh ideas and multifaceted system. We live in exciting times that we are able to practice herbal medicine and contemplate what may have only been available to clergy or magicians of the court. For certainly true healing the soul along with the body is magic! There are so many positive possibilities!

Love the making of the herbal alcohol. I have felt called to that and this summer season I made a "beer" from St John's Wort. Taken in small doses it was very uplifting rather than intoxicating, and the first bottle I drank was a gentle psychedelic, I did not drink it by the bottle after that...

Thank you for bringing more awareness to these very old & true teachings. This brings medicine making to "another level" = the true human level. We humans being connected with nature and cosmos. This understanding is key to living a whole life - not a material and artificial one. Be well, my friend. Greetings from Christoph, Black Forest, Germany

I'm finding this fascinating, another facet in herbalism. Besides, I'm interested in the precursor to "contemporary" science, which is alchemy.

wow this is so interesting, is there a tradition in alchemy for incorporating astrology into herbal gardens? you've connected some dots for me, if this is tapping into a plant's own cosmic blueprint and archetypal influences, i wonder if it would be beneficial to pull natal charts for the exact time an herb first sprouts from the ground? studying its natal chart while it grows, i wonder if medicinal herbs used for important uses could be selected based on its placements, such as a fiery herb having strong fire placements or robust sun/mars placements, or indications of being a healer.

This process so reminds me of biodynamic preps. Bringing the cosmic consciousness in. I have made tincture in accordance with the moon and the signs and have dressed my tincture jars with gem stones and singing. But I did not know of this term spagyrics. I love the way you speak young man, but I cannot watch you, your hands are too distracting. Carry on!
