I have done watching and practicing all 10 hours of the video. It took me 4 days to complete it. Now I want to give my testimony: Positive: 1. This tutorial is very beginner friendly. In fact, someone who never designs at all before can follow this video. There are some basic design lessons in the video. 2. You don't need the pro/paid version of Figma to follow all the steps. 3. The tutorial has a specific sessions with timestamp, so you can choose the section that you want to learn without worrying about the exact time each sessions. Negative: 1. This video was a year ago, so some of the tools/settings/options may have different forms or placements. 2. There isn't an English subtitle on the video. Without decreasing my respect for Mr. Joseph, if you aren't familiar with his English accent, you may have to repeat some parts of it to understand what He says. However, this only happens in the first 30 minutes or an hour. You will get used to it. Overall, thank you freeCodeCamp and Mr. Joseph Brendan to provide us with this awesome Figma course. Once again, Thank you very much.

The material design guide has much changed since this video was made. Making it a bit hard to navigate, I do hope your videos are updated soon enough, I really enjoy them. Well done sir.

This video is highly intensive. It covers all you need to know to get started with UX!!
Thanks A lot Sir👍!!
This is the best Figma course on TH-cam. Thank you and God bless you, Joe!
I'm only two hours in this course and I have learned more than 1 year in college lol. I'll come back here to make a full comment on the video once I'm finished.
Still haven't finished the video yet?
@@onyedikachiozoani Or it's 6mths you want to use to watch the 10hrs video?
The best figma tutorial I have seen across the TH-cam
Love it! ❤️
Thank you so much for this, it was super helpful for someone like me whose first exposure to design and Figma is this video.
I just finished this, it was awesome! Thanks for the effort you put in
I'm about 3 hours in and i can boldly say i've learned a lot, and i really can't wait to finish up so i can see how much progress I've made.
Thank you Mr Joe, this is a masterpiece.
After learning on and off for weeks I was able to finish. Thank you so much for providing this in-depth learning video! I feel more confident to try simple projects in Figma.
please one question, i would like to be a web designer, where should i start, do i need to learn some principles if so where can i find it. and do i need to learn graphic design principle too
@@elidrissistudio I hope you don't mind I checked you portfolio, that's a good start. You are right graphic design principles is a must, it will teach you good color combinations and other stuff that makes design work. There are tons of videos here in TH-cam to help you out, but imo I got more value in some courses from Lynda. If you want to take things further pick up ux/ui practices too. And if you wanna code html, css and JavaScript are the way to go. I hope this helps you get started.

How far are you with Figma? UI UX Design? I am a newbie and currently going through this tutorial.
Completed this 10 hr course, watched it completely it's really useful for me as a beginner. Great course to watch for.
This is a fantastic video, I'm only 4 hours in, but Joseph is a great teacher. Thank you so much!
the man teaches with an incredibly high degree of detail. tnx a million
Hi, @prised. When creating a design system for text styles and components in the video.. wasn't what you saw in the material design 3 website now different from the pages the tutor showed when following the guide to create a text and component style ?
This is incredibly helpful and makes designing a website from scratch very straightforward -- may not be easy, but this shows very clearly how to start and what the steps are to making a good design. Thanks!
Best figma course..

We can also use the Alt key to see the margin or space between two elements by selecting one element and then pressing alt or option key and hovering over the object we want to see the space or margin with respect to.
