Dean Martin was and is the best entertainer of all time. His imperfection was his perfection. A calm, humble, smooth, funny and very talented guy. Love him so much💖
Dean gave my Dad so much Joy the closing chapters of life. The CD collection was brought to him at nursing home. Dad had a blast. Thanks to Dean,it was filled w laughter. May you meet up ahead in Paradise.
The Dean Martin Show- I’m Still enjoying all those episodes nowadays. A great entertainment show. Love it. Love the man and his work/music. He’ll always be remembered.
I haven't come across another show host who could sing, dance, act, talk, tell jokes, and be this absolutely fascinating entertainer. Correct me if I'm wrong. I dare you.
OMG Dean Martin was so smooth. I loved watching his show. I especially liked the way he treated his guests, no matter their color. He'd hug/kiss black female guests and you hardly EVER saw that back in the day. Love him.
JUST KEEP THESE BRILLIANT SHOWS COMING. SUPERB ENTERTAINMENT FROM THIS GREAT SINGER AND VERSATILE ENTERTAINER. I WATCH EVERY NIGHT. I WAS YOUNG IN HIS ERA, I am 84 SO YOU CAN SEE I LIVED THROUGH THE GREATEST ERA OF ENTERTAINMENT.
These were the days when you saw talent on the television, unlike today when there is so much garbage.... I loved Dean Martin's shows, never missed them, wonderful times... Thanks for the memories Dean, bless you and may you rest in peace forever more.
I was about 8 years old in 1967. I loved this show!! Still do!!? Thank TH-cam and these great channels!! Dean was one of the greatest!!!! The garbage we have today👎👎👎👿👿☹️☹️🥴🥴👎
Dean was always one of my favorites. The shows were so funny. I wish they had shows like that today. But to do that you would have to find someone like dean.
Unfortunately there was only One Dean Martin! A True American Iconic Treasure! Thank God modern technology has provided a way to preserve this magic for all time for future Generations to Enjoy and appreciate! Can you imagine how sad tragic it whould be if this time and Talent was lost! I wish the technology was around in the past centuries that had preserved the talented Performers that had inspired these wonderful Entertainer's! I'm sure their were great Treasure s lost in the past thank God this was Perserved
To do that you would have to find someone in Hollywood that had talent. Someone who wasn’t full of themselves. Someone who thinks their political opinions are better than yours. Someone who thinks that if you disagree with them you should be cancelled. So, I don’t think we’ll ever see anything like this ever again. I’m just glad we are of the age when shows like this were on every week. People like Dean, Frank, Milton, Lucy,…. will never come back.
wish we had more if the likes deano, because there ain't nothing that has paid their dues, like its got to be oh!! just hear &see whats out there now, good bye now ...
Man watching this is as a younger person feels insane. The humor is so different but still holds up. The music numbers are amazing and lighthearted. And there’s 8 years of this stuff, people who grew up with this had it great lol
Watching Dean MARTIN is REALITY AT ITS GREATEST.. just watch his facial expresions and movements and see how they express the words that he sings. HE IS THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER.............
(guest) Yes, Catte! We really need to resurrect this type of variety show. There are thousands of lovely songs available from many decades, which have been largely elbowed out by crappy "pop" stuff. Almost every station on the radio , for example, is pop rubbish ! And the suoermarkets blast your ears with cheap " cover" versions : The result is that many people never get to hear good, solid melodies ! Pop crap is all they've ever known ! Well, my great favourites are classical : symphonies, oratorios,Chopin, Bach, etc : an inexhaustible supply to last a lifetime. ( Not keen on opera in audio only, as you can't tell what they're saying!), but I really appreciate the kind of songs you get on the variety shows like Dean's. Thank you SO much ! 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
That was quite excellent...I always liked Dean. Leslie Uggams blew it of this planet too. These shows are way before my time but extremely awesome. Thank you very much for the up:)
This Show highlights an Era of Great Music Song And Dance by some of the most Talented Performer s in Human HISTORY! I'm so thankful that modern technology has been able to Preserve these Artist for Future Generation s to enjoy and appreciate a wonderful world of Past Entertainment!
The positive energy vibes you get from Dean Martin's shows is so fantastic! He has always made me smile. The Ding A Lings are cute and Dean always finds a comic comment with them.
Maybe the best of the 60’s- 70’s variety shows. No one like Martin. A knowing, clever send-up of a truly funny, quite handsome, legitimately gifted singer. He made it all look effortless- and what a generous host to his co-stars I was
I remain in complete awe of Dean Martin's talent! He effortlessly goes from comedic banter to great duets! One of the smoothest singing voices ever. And looks like he's having the time of his life every time. And let's not forget what a fine dramatic actor he was too. Watch The Young Lions and Rio Bravo. More than holds his own with John Wayne and Montgomery Clift, which was no easy feat!
That was so funny… an excellent show! The music, the singing, the jokes… such camaraderie… and everyone so polite and good looking. From beginning to end, the timing was just perfect... and all in good fun. We don't really see anything like this anymore. It was great! Thank you for sharing tbis clip!
Loved Dean, and still do. He often pretended to be drunk, and here he was. Messed up in every segment but knew how to roll with it. The hair pull at the last was unplanned, and awesome.
It's always great to revisit the great Dean Martin shows, but the best part of this one is that they put the wonderful drummer Jack Sperling out in front of the camera. A big reason why the music was so good on this show was Jack's kicking the Les Brown band. As a kid, I tuned in largely just to hear his terrific fills backing up Dean and the girl singers. And he was the coolest guy behind a set of drums.
That's what we want. I will give you two nights a week, three if needed but no more than three and if you don't feel better after two weeks come back and see me, we'll try something else but you shouldn't have to, most of my patients are very satisfied so good luck, call me if you need me... here, my card????????????? (for fun)
Love the song " It a marshmallow world". Have seen Dean do it serval times, not a single one are done the same way. He was so cute each and every time he sung it.
At 48:30 Eddie Foy grabs Rossi's hair and Rossi grabs Eddie Foy's and is surprised when he takes off Eddie Foy's hair piece....great that all had a sense of humor. thank you for posting.
This part had to have Dean kinda remembering when him and Jerry was on a Bob Hope and Bing Crosby special. Jerry came out being his crazy self and Bing was so afraid Jerry was going to take off his hair piece. He never came out while Dean and Jerry was around. In fact Jerry and Bing never talked after that. Poor Dean must of having a flash back when the hair piece came off. so glad everyone was in good mood about it.
Toni Wilson Yeah, but this was clearly a genuine goof - just look at the shock on Rossi’s face, and it took quite a few seconds for the others to realise what had happened before they started laughing!
Not only my first Dean Show, the first I've ever seen him perform!! I watched because someone said he often played "like he was unrehearsed and slightly tipsy!" lol I wondered, HOW?!" I totes get it now! SO GOOD! I'm a fan!
Deano, our bambino, smoking a ciggy while singing a marshmallow world live, and sounding perfect in key. I Fucking love this. Wish tv was like this today
Pinja Turunen Shabu was my thing...was never in to the "jazz cigar." Jazz made me cough and it hurt my throat, and it didn't hype me up. I am now clean though and will stay that way. My addiction now are sweet red, rum, whisky, vodka, and... Better than shabu though....

Child of the sixties - can’t help but wish for a little time travel magic so Dino could sit down for an extended Colbert interview. Somehow I think Stephen could do him justice - it would be priceless. And hilarious. How a man can be so smooth & shamelessly kittenish at the same time is genius. 🤣
The oldies were so much fun... wish they could bring back these times🎉🎉🎉
Back when STARS WERE STARS they earned it
Perfect voice, perfect humor, perfect timing.
Dean Martin was and is the best entertainer of all time. His imperfection was his perfection. A calm, humble, smooth, funny and very talented guy. Love him so much💖

Plus he was so easy to look at ❤
50 YEARS AGO AND I CAN STILL REMEMBER DEAN AND WHEN THE SHOW WAS OVER HE WOULD ALWAYS SAY "GOODNIGHT JEANNE" WHAT A GREAT TIME!
Thanks for the fabulous memories. PLEASE take me back to that era. Their jokes were FAR superior to the so-called "comedy" today.
There will never be another Dean Martin, he was the greatest ❤ he was loved by millions. McNabb, RIP Dean
Thanks for uploading this wonderful shows!
OMG Dean Martin was so smooth. I loved watching his show. I especially liked the way he treated his guests, no matter their color. He'd hug/kiss black female guests and you hardly EVER saw that back in the day. Love him.
That is because skin color meant nothing to him. Today he would be blasted, as the rich old white man, by the same types he hung around back then.
Loved every second of the show thank you all
)
I was Born in 1982 and for me this greate show is my favorite tv old and Gold stuf!!! Thank you Dean Martin for this ! Rest in Peace Dino !!!

He certainly was without any doubt. The absolute best.
Man watching this is as a younger person feels insane. The humor is so different but still holds up. The music numbers are amazing and lighthearted. And there’s 8 years of this stuff, people who grew up with this had it great lol

I agree I suffer from choric pain, if I am really hurting all I have to is put Dean Martin show, my pain melt away. Best medicine for choric pain.
These are amazing! I have all the "best of" DVDs, but I'd love to have these complete episodes - just so good!
The best, and his humility and humor THE best
Great to see the great Jack Sperling with Leslie Uggams! And Dino sings so beautifully, all the subtleties are there!
My mum absolutely drooled over this man
Love the song " It a marshmallow world". Have seen Dean do it serval times, not a single one are done the same way. He was so cute each and every time he sung it.

Toni Wilson Yeah, but this was clearly a genuine goof - just look at the shock on Rossi’s face, and it took quite a few seconds for the others to realise what had happened before they started laughing!
Toni Wilson Lovely show. 🧚🏻♀️🌸🌸🌸🌟
Full show great thanks !!!!!
Not only my first Dean Show, the first I've ever seen him perform!! I watched because someone said he often played "like he was unrehearsed and slightly tipsy!" lol I wondered, HOW?!" I totes get it now! SO GOOD! I'm a fan!
Thursday nights were something to look forward to! Great memories. A+
Deano, our bambino, smoking a ciggy while singing a marshmallow world live, and sounding perfect in key. I Fucking love this. Wish tv was like this today
60s-80s, eras of FUN! Now its too much politics and the club scene isn't safe anymore... Wish I was born in this era.
+A. Olaer - I've never had a problem at my local clubs.
+A. Olaer You could always enjoy some of em' jazz cigarettes. Ya know what i mean, bud!
A. Oreal 45-1975 were fun
40s dance and swing
50s music
60s culture
70s music and culture
Pinja Turunen 4
So glad to see "The Dean Martin Show" again
When Jackie Mason stated that if he didn't get off, "he'd be finished in the business...this happened once before....." he was referring to his legendary appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show two years prior....on that program, Ed was indicating off stage with his fingers that Jackie needed to hurry up and finish....Jackie supposedly gave Ed the middle finger in return which was captured on national television because Ed's show was broadcast live.......Sullivan banned him from future performances until eventually later in 1967 he relented and allowed Jackie back on TESS...there's much more to this story....classic television...thanks for the upload
Effectivement c'est loin sans le temps. Merveilleux.... ou sont les grands ARTISTIES?
Brilliant from beginning to end!
About a month after this terrific show aired, Jackie Mason ran into some serious trouble with Dean's pal Frank, who had recently married Mia Farrow, a much younger woman. Jackie often made fun of Frank as part of his act and this angered Frank, who told him to cut it out. The only comic who could do this and get away with it was Don Rickles. While in Vegas, Jackie got threatening phone calls, and someone fired three bullets through the glass door of his hotel room. There was an investigation, but the matter was soon dropped. Jackie stopped making jokes about Mia, but continued to make Frank the butt of his wisecracks. Not long afterward, during a show in Miami, Jackie remarked, "I don’t know who it was that tried to shoot me…After the shots were fired all I heard was someone singing: Doobie, doobie, do," referencing Frank's hit song of the day, "Strangers in the Night."
Jackie received several death threats to stop joking about Frank, but he persisted. Finally, on Feb. 13, 1967, while Jackie was sitting in a car with a young woman in front of an apartment building in Miami, a man wearing brass knuckles yanked open the car door and struck Jackie in the face, breaking his nose and crushing his cheekbone. "We warned you to stop using the Sinatra material in your act," and "This isn't the worst thing that could happen to you," the attacker said before taking off. Jackie quit joking about Frank and, in fact, issued an apology that was published in a newspaper. One of Frank's career overseers, Vincent "Jimmy Blue Eyes" Alo, who tried his best to contain Frank's abusive conduct warned show biz folks that were on Frank's bad side to stay away from Miami. In Vegas, Frank could be contained, but all bets were off in Miami. Later that same year, at the Sands, Frank himself would get slugged by Vegas boss Carl Cohen, knocking out two of Frank's front dental caps, after Frank went haywire on Carl during an early morning spat between the two fellows.
Frank Sinatra, for all his generous philanthropic contributions, had a mean temper and associates who would lash out in order to prove their loyalty
How weird
How strange
I love Frank, but he could be a jerk! He drank heavily and was abusive to other people.
Could Leslie Uggams have more personal charm and charisma? She glows!
Back when TV had class and style.
Everybody loved Dean Martin! There will never be another Dean. 😢
Leslie Uggams... What a beautiful woman.!
That guy had more charisma than anyone else in the Rat Pack, or any other entertainer I can think of at that time. He also got better as he got older.
Love the nostalgia!!!
loved this so much!!
i would be ten yrs old.... Deano was the man
I was 9 so Happy we have the I the internet so we can really enjoy these shows.
love this! missed times. My Boss always tells me..."welcome to the 60's"
If you are just gonna hate on this man then why do you watch the video and take the time to comment?
Love to hear Dean sing Acustom to her Face. Eddie Foy was his guest. Standing on the corner.
i recall this show from such a different perspective.
Jackie Masons delivery is just epic even back then
Child of the sixties - can’t help but wish for a little time travel magic so Dino could sit down for an extended Colbert interview. Somehow I think Stephen could do him justice - it would be priceless. And hilarious. How a man can be so smooth & shamelessly kittenish at the same time is genius. 🤣
one of the greatest ever
You just have to hand it to the Dino man ... he was the King of cool... he looks so relaxed, so at easy and in control... magic flows effortlessly
Naaah, Steve McQueen was the king of cool.
Nothing personal, but I still think and so do millions of others, that Dean was much cooler than Steve McQueen
Nobody better than Dino, how I wish I grew up in this era
