Is the meta data for plex and the docker container in appdata running off of a ssd cache pool or off your hdd pool array? I've heard plex meta data is faster on a cache pool but no one explains how to set this up on unraid.
Hi there. Thank you for watching and the comment. The easiest way to do this would be during the initial install. You would just point the "appdata" field in your Plex Media Server template to your SSD/NVMe drive. This will install Plex onto that drive instead of the default "/mnt/user/appdata/plex" location. In my case, I have my appdata shares primary location as a seperate appdata_cache pool where all of my containers are installed.
