- Legendary Reliquary quest clear for Assassin's Dagger and Zeus Mace using auto battle.
This video was created for people who have a well developed account but do not find this type of content enjoyable, but still want the rewards. I try to use units that are non-limited or limited units that I feel that most people pulled for (such as Cloud and Sephiroth) in order to reach the widest audience possible. I also try to limit the amount of 140 units whenever possible.
For accounts that are not as developed, this content is still possible to be done on manual. There are plenty of manual guides out there. I have added some notes for manual players who are using this guide to clear. I created this on full auto because there are not many full auto guides out there.
If you are using this guide for Auto clearing, make sure you set "Always use maximum firepower to defeat enemy" to off or else the run may not be successful.
This Reliquary was extremely difficult to clear on auto. The annoying part of this is waves 2-3, and waves 4-5 are on maps with annoying height differences making enemies difficult to get to. To make things worse, enemies spawn very far away. It took a lot of tries and fine tuning to get the Auto AI to move in a consistent manner. Without a proper setup, units will waste a lot of actions doing nothing/buffing.
I do hope that this guide is useful even if you are not able to do it on auto. I have added enemy weaknesses for wave 7 onwards for those who are doing this on Manual. I hope they are helpful.
I have swapped from using Addison Rae to Bartz as it appears that less people have Addison Rae built than I expected. Hopefully more people have Bartz built on their accounts than Addison. If so I will continue to use him for future Reliquaries.
Important Notes:
1.) Party 1 setup is not flexible at all. You need to be able to copy the exact setup in order to have the highest chance of clearing on auto. Even changing a single VC alters the movement of party 1. I think the one VC that most people might not have is the Minotaur. You can replace it with Flash of Insight, but must have damage passives on your Truststones for Sakura (10 light attack, 10 crit damage). Sakura also requires 200 activation time reduction on her truststones.
2.) If you cannot copy party 1 exactly, then it is recommended to do wave 7 manually. Goal of wave 7 is: 50 actions on party 2 remaining, Ed has 29 or more AP, and Summer Jayden has 7 or more AP.
3.) If you are able to copy this setup exactly, it should consistently get you to wave 10 with about 20 actions remaining and 4-5 units alive on auto. It is recommended to turn off auto for wave 10 and kill Summer Helena first manually before turning back on auto. This should ensure your success of the run. The AI likes to ignore Helena and she can debuff your party with Area Resist Down and Ramuh will follow up with an Area Attack that will kill 2-3 party members. If you do decide to continue all the way with auto, it will be successful about 50% of the time based on all the times that I have run it so you may need to run it 2-3 times for success.

I'm late to the party again but I'm excited to put this together and see what turns out different for me when I post my run video. Thanks so very much! I love doing this sort of content and really appreciate the strats you put together. Also, v glad Bartz is in for Addison as I was never gonna build her.
This reliquary was a tough one. You might need to run it a few times to get a successful clear. Good luck and I hope you get it in one shot!
It has also become clear to me that a good amount of people have no intentions of building Addison (totally understandable), so I'm going to try to not use her anymore. Good news is that I think a lot of people have light Helena, who should be able to replace Addison with little to no change.
@@fats1337 Thanks. Yeah It's so annoying. I was trying to create a run for it for like 2 days and gave up lol. I hoped you had figured it out as I want to now catch up on the reliquaries and be ready for the new one. A couple of runs is no prob, we'll see how many it takes. I have Yelena built and ready so she'd be fun to use.

Notes on my run:
- wave 1 finish left 62
- wave 2_3 funish left 44
- wave 4 : both fina and sakura die. If i manual wave 4 and get to 7 then ed dies to 10k needles. Or ice jayden one shots leela. Then I have to start over
Idk if this is reliably possible on auto.
I did finish using mostly auto but i turned it off at certain points:
- wave 2: make sure bartz uses ap auto restore and not defiant courage
- wave 3: manually heal sakura at the beginning so she does’t die. Buff first with jj and mariale. Manually kill marlboros when possible.
- wave 7: i pretty much manualed from this point onwards with recommended abilities on to help me choose highest damage
I also reincarnated glaciela to 75 and gave her camillo spear.
For sakura i did’t need acc as much as damage so i gave her a dmg limit accessory

Yes, this one was very tough to do on auto and was very inconsistent. I'm not particularly happy with the auto run. Wave 8 was very frustrating on auto with the highly evasive cactuar.

i can't even full clear this with three teams on manual. absolutely disgusting

No Edward, hes only lvl 99, Light team carries me to end of wave 7 for the most part. Going to change Sakura to light Helena to see where that gets me. I swapped ED with Xmas Luartha got to wave 10 with only 2 units alive and couldnt clear it yet. Tried about 10 times and manual control at the end. will update soon
Swapping light Helena in did the trick. Brought me all the way through to wave 8 before team swap. Thank you!!!
This one was really tough to get through consistently on auto. Getting to wave 8 before team swapping is super impressive!
Any alternatives for Ed?

Question, for Wave 4, when Astrius hits Sakura and the CT Up from Wizard Rod activates, it pushes mine to be faster than Marialle, when it should not be and from there onwards it goes wonky. Agi values are the same as yours. What could be going wrong?
My only guess would be that you did not set Bartz's affinity to OFF.
I actually just tried running it again and for whatever my run is different. When I get a chance, I'll probably have to make some tweaks again. I really hate this Reliquary, it was really frustrating to clear it on full auto. Sorry this guide's not working out for you ☹
@@fats1337 Bartz affinity was def turned off, so that wasn't the issue. I assume it might have been some differing level of affinity tuning (between units or espers somehow), or it's just spaghetti code nonsense. I was able to clear it by manualing some parts. But yeah this one was tense.
Any replacement for the main vc on Bartz? Didn’t pull that limited vc.
I would recommend just using Flash of Insight to see if that works.

Yes, I have noticed that something changed. I did rerun with the same setup and it looks like on wave 2 jayden is moving differently for some reason and that messes with the rest of the run. I hated this particular reliquary because of the map layouts in wave 2-3 and wave 4-5 are both very difficult to tackle on auto. I hope to revisit this one at a later date as I am still not satisfied with the guide. Sorry the guide isn't helping you 🙁
@@fats1337 its ok, i think i have some troubleshooting info for you, i ex the Ramza VC so the extra 1% agi in the sub slot may be the culprit, tho ive lowered the reso with espers of the affected units to 9 to copy agi stats but it didnt resolve the issus… this May contribute to the situation
Hey will this team still work with addy? I have her at 140 and dont have barts even at 99 yet (he’s in the barracks)
Yes, Addison will work well. I originally used her before Bartz. You will need to use kitones TMR, turn off her buffs (soul regram + barrier bop), use trousseau as sub VC instead of minotaur, get her agi to around 96, and turn off affinity. Was able to clear wave 6 with this on auto (most the time).
Unfortunately I don't think there's a good replacement for Ed if you want to do auto.
Any alternatives to HLeela and Sadali? I have both but neither are even close to maxed. :(
Unfortunately not for this one on auto. This one was extremely difficult to do on auto so there's no substitutes.
If you're playing manually, Lenna or Ayaka can replace HLeela. I'm not sure about sadali since he has a strong AoE buff, you can try an offensively geared Jeume to tank and damage if you have her or try using Howlet.
