I really enjoyed this video, TJ. I had no idea there were so many types of noodle soups out there - AMAZING! I couldn't believe how big those bowls were either - what a value. Since I've never had beef noodle soup, I would want to try both the Braised and the Satay. YUM!

Reminds of the days where I acted as “secret reviewer” for the yearly beef noodle festival. Having to travel throughout Taipei and review these places was quite an experience. Those bowls were big but the biggest I remember was somewhere remote in 大同區.

Why is it I can go days of not being hungry until I watch one of your videos. Then I'm hungry and I stay hungry even if I eat something until I have a wee bit of ice cream... Eating is something I do because I have to. It's not something that I enjoy doing. I guess at my age food just don't taste good any more it's got a bitter taste to it no matter what I eat. Even M&M's have a bitter taste to them and M&M's are my snack on thing. I can go all day and not eat as long as I got a few M&M's to snack on through out the day as I lay here.... You keep on having fun my sweet beautiful young little one. Enjoy every moment of everyday to it's fullest you never know when life will show up and knock the wind out of your sails. It's great to have a lot of good memories to fall back on while your waiting day after day for the wind to start blowing again. And it's those memories that help you to hold on while your waiting... I've been waiting for 5 years 5 months 7 days and 5 hours now waiting for the wind to fill my sail again. I've had a few gust of wind here and there but no sustainable wind as of yet. But it's coming soon... Be blessed my little young one this old biker loves you... BBE..

Now, Taiwan is another destination I would love to go to for the delicious food. If you're traveling to Taiwan from California, is it safe to eat the street foods in Taiwan?
