I worked in an intelligence unit with many high security file cabinets. In the bottom of each was a thermite device that we were to drop in the top drawer and then lock the cabinet in the event our building was overrun. We were told that the device would burn down thru all the drawers and destroy everything inside. These were vault like cabinets, with combination locks and thick possibly fire resistant insulation so the heat would have been really intense.
@@andrewbeekman67 "Thou shalt not kill" says the lord. So it is indeed banned. Although some say "In love and war all means are allowed" Some just say "kill kill kill" so i guess it is which romantic version you are attached. Geneva convention doesn't mention thermite i believe, since it was not thought of. Nor does it speak against pouring molten metal over your enemies. so..
Thermite grenades, used by the military will burn through a cast iron engine block from top to bottom. They can also burn through an artillery breech block when dropped down an elevated barrel. I would imagine if you set one on a tank it would burn through the hull too.
I'm not liking these computer voiced videos at all. Just something disturbing about them. I mute them and try and read along but the subs interfere and compete with the usual text that sometimes shows. And then I just move on. Stick with your usual video w/music format. It works very well.

Just came here after seeing a thermite drone burning a tree line like an ungodly flame shower from the heavens
Same bro. Isn't this type of warfare banned??

actually thermite is not that hard to make but you need knowledge in chemical.
Hayduke used thermite to (try) to burn through a concrete bridge pier in Glen Canyon.
Aka CADD welding. Used to weld rail road tracks.

Thermite was invented by Hans Goldschmidt in 1893 and patented in 1885. It was used in WW1 and 2.
It was invented AFTER being patented?!
Art students created canvases of steel and thermite 23 years ago on 7,1 and 2
Slava Ukraine!!
It's going to be a hot winter for Ukraine's guests.

Yeah Baby…. 🔱🔱🇺🇦🔱🔱
What is 4000 degrees fahrenheit for the rest of the world that does not indulge in your mediaeval measuring system?
C = ((F + 40) * 5/9) -40
=> C = 2204
"Powered iron??!!"
Seriously?!
It is "powdered iron oxide" i.e. rust.

I can't believe so their NATO training has led up to this😂
Thermite drones give me the creeps. It reminds me of napalm and white phosphorus. It seems medieval and barbaric.
Jim nepomůže ani atomovka😂😢😮😅😅😅😮😮😢😂

Go Rusia 😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉 🎉😂😂🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦💪💪💪💪💪👌🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thermite works better if you use *powdered* iron oxide instead of powered iron oxide
Russia has 5580 Nuclear warheads. Ukraine, ZERO
So why the whining that Russia is a victim when attacking a smaller neighbour. Classic Russian bullying.
Did you know that the Russians work with drones extremely since 2010 so there are more experienced it's very sad but true
Yoda is that you?
Ukraine is years ahead of Russia, And they have the west supporting them, Russia is being humiliated
lol

Every day in every way Ukraine gets stronger and stronger!!!!!! The world thanks you, in my opinion. Good reporting. Thank you. Strong NATO.
