I am surprised Uriah Heep is not in the 2nd slot….at least in my circles for the last 50 years, I’ve been far more aware of Heep rather than Saxon. I accept this version of Uriah Heep because, well, Lee Kerslake can’t play any longer, nor can David Byron or Ken Hensley….and, well neither can Gary Thain….
I bought Saxon's 'Denim And Leather' album way back in '83, I think it was, and while I remember it being pretty good, they just didn't hook me the way Zeppelin, Sabbath, and HEEP had a decade earlier!
It’s evident that Mr Shaw is not quite pleased about the 35 minute allotted time slot - frankly I agree - Saxon should get the 35 minutes, Heep should get 45 and then Judas “Judas Priest” can behave the phonies….under no circumstance can you have Judas Priest without KK and Glen manning the turrets full-time. Thats an Abominog 😂
@@christianopreuler1876 I see - answer this: would it be the Beatles without John & George? How about without John, George and Ringo? Judas Priest has what I call the classic original members of Rob and Ian. The classic original members are in fact: Rob, Ian, Dave Holland, KK and Glen. In no way is that to say they are not a good band as is - they are a great band right now - but it is not Judas Priest….its a cover band with special guests Rob and Ian.
@@joerectifier My Goodnes , theres no Band wich is playing 50 Years and more still with the same members from the beginning not KISS , not AC /DC , and not Uriah Heep, Scorpions, Iron Maiden even not the Rolling Stones! All the best from Munich and tomorrow i will enjoy the 3 Bands! 🍻😉🍻
If anything Saxon stole show in Glasgow and Heep regularly support Saxon. Saxon have a well established live audience through over 40 years themselves so think the order was about right. Heep were excellent though. Seen them on a couple of support slots and always delivered.
thx for upload from germany. stay heavy brothers and sisters
Thank you from a big fan in central California!
merci pour la video super groupe vive le rock
So awesome a blistering 'FREE 'N' EASY' features here, as IT and 'The Other Side Of Midnight' should be in every HEEP show.
THE only band in rock history I'd travel a hundred miles to see for a meager thirty-five minute set!
Big respekt! I see them tomorrow in Munich and i have only One mile to go! Gruß aus München 👍🍻😉
