Capri and Olsa tools are my favorite brands. They’re both featured on my channel often. That SK based flex head ratchet is beast! It out performed Snap-On removing exhaust manifold bolts on my 7.3L diesel rebuild video!
Thank you for the support!
Found Olsa tools about a year ago, and as a professional mechanic, I do buy and use these tools. I really like the brand. Watching this just further solidified that I made the right choice. Plus you get an Olsa Tools sticker in most products!
Keep up the great work making great tools, i will keep buying them!
Thank you for the feedback and support! 🙌
I needed a wrench that could remove rounded bolt head, because a socket wouldn't fit in the area. Found olsa tools extractor wrench. Bought a set and it worked perfect. I own and operate heavy equipment and constantly put these tools to the test. They have held up very well. And so have their sockets. Thank you olsa tools
We appreciate the feedback and the support! 🙌
Nice story and great quality tools.
Thank you for your support!
It’s so awesome to see and hear your story! I have your SAE stubby wrenches and they are great. Plus you guys are local to me, and I love supporting other Alberta businesses! I hope you all have a Marry Christmas and a happy new year!!!🎉🎉
We're very happy to hear that! Thank you for your support and Merry Christmas/Happy New Year to you too!
Great video and story. I enjoy making videos on your tools and putting the word out on a great company. Thank you!
Thank you for all your content! 🙌
@@Olsatools Your welcome. Merry Christmas
@@GrouchyGarageTips Sweet channel, and content! Great short on the screwdriver organizer and drivers! Sold me on one, and a new sub too! Lol!
Well, I love my atv, I love my tools, and I love working on my atv with my tools. Olsa seems to be right up my alley. You guys just sent me a birthday coupon anyway, so I may as well use it after the holidays are over. I hope it's still good then because there are a few things I actually need to get.
That's awesome! Thank you for the support! 🙌
Always great to have more options
We agree!
That was a cool story!
Thank you!
Its all about options, and Olsa a great option! I have a tool channel on you tube and I feature Olsa tools as much as I can!!
Thank you for all your content, Jeff!
Awesome
Thank you! 🙌
That's a solid story. congrats! Send us out some tools to torture test!!!
Thank you! 🙌
Good lord! You have a RAD channel! I'm into the DiY stubby ratchet!
I'd be WAY into seeing you do some more "real world" testing on Olsa tools! I like puttin things into machines and going for the bust... But yer channel has an appealing style of presentation that would go well with the Olsa brand. I hope they can send ya some sweet test mules!
I’ve got a few bits from Olsa….. just waiting your 3 row socket organisers to be offered in more colour options like you have for the 2 row sets. My 2 row are going for to my sons tool box as I’ve collected more sockets…
Thank you for the support!
I like any company that trys for usa made as well
Our flex head ratchets are made in the USA 👍
That is also a big selling point for me too! I've used lots of Asian manufactured tools, and the Taiwanese but particularly Olsa's have been incredible! I feel like Taiwan has solid QC, and seems like the manufacturing facilities use better stock to start with, than say China.
I've owned the organizers for almost 6 years and nearly a full set of hand tools for a about 4... They are fantastic quality tools, and our mobile tech crew would love to outfit our massive shop with Olsa tools.... But they have been incredibly resistant to selling individual tools. I find it incredibly difficult to comprehend the ease of getting a replacement if damaged, but refusal to sell one because we are mobile mechs and shit happens sometimes. This is a massive crutch that the company is riding for some odd reason. It's a huge sticking point for an otherwise great company to buy from and deal with. It just sucks BIGTIME that their receptiveness to logic is lack luster, at best. It feels like you are dealing with a AliBaba or Temu seller, the instant you want to purchase a single replacement tool! It gives the idea of the company has everything manufactured and packaged elsewhere when they claim a made in Germany, The US, and Taiwan branding. The factory that makes the flex head ratchet sells to other vendors who offer single replacement sockets... But Olsa still does not. Too bad. This video was pretty great. Too bad the buying experiences aren't as great!
This is why I've been a big fan of Tekton sockets. I've had a full set of them for 2 years and have lost 3 sockets from other people using them. I was able to order new ones for $4-$6 ea no big deal. They're warranty is also genuinely the best in the business. However Olsa has a MUCH MUCH larger catalog, while Tekton only offers a few hard-line tools, and even then Tekton wrenches don't feel made for automotive given they're shorter size
@ this is a great piece of info! I have lost 2 end wrenches and about a half dozen sockets in about 4 years from others dropping them off of our dock! Lol! So hearing that Tekton will sell singles is incredibly appealing! Our shop will outfit our techs with mobile shop tools, but can’t justify tool truck pricing for the number of “adaptations” to tools and losses we have. We’re in power sports so we can deal with less than pro grade automotive quality! Thanks Carter!
Thank you for your honest feedback and for being a loyal customer for so many years-we truly appreciate your support! We understand how frustrating it can be when you need a single replacement tool and it’s not easily available.
The good news is that we now sell individual wrenches and sockets for existing customers. Since these are available in limited quantities, we recommend reaching out to our customer support team at support@olsatools.com to check availability.
We’re always working to improve, and feedback like yours helps us grow as a company. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there’s anything else we can assist you with.
@@Olsatools This is also FANTASTIC! Lol! I make a yearly email around new year asking if I can get a couple single wrenches! Lol! This reply will save both Mark, and Simon the repeated replies to me! Those two CS reps are like GOLD by the way!
I figure that after our winter snow machine hoo ha ends, I'll shoot Support an e-mail and buy some wrenches and sockets to fill the empty spots! Once I do, I'll send ya a video of my set-up. I'm super weird and picky, so I want it ALL OLSA before I show it off! Hahaha!
Thanks a lot for takin the time to update us and for just being cool people in general! That reply just changed EVERYTHING for me, and probably our wheeled service techs!
Spend your money elsewhere. They obviously don't care about the customer once they get your money. Your wallet is your way of putting these types of people in their place.
Love the tools even more now! I didn’t know he was a fellow Motörhead! #trx250r ❤
Thank you for the support!
Funny how a 2 stroke 250 scared the pants off of us more than the four stroke 450's we all rode out of high school! Lol! #trx250r ❤
I would probably try out some of your tools ..but I do not buy from Amazon
Our products are also available on our website 🙂
Yall flex head 1/2 torque wrench is $200 that is way too much
@@mack606 I agree! But I bet it'll come down in price, like almost every other tool they sell has.
This is one piece of info that is nearly impossible to find... What plant those ratchets come out of... There are only a couple in the US, and guess who runs that ship! Lol! There is a solid chance those ratchet handles are truly worth the big bucks! Lol!
I bought a 7" Olsa Vise. It was subpar at best. Tolerances need to be tighter. It's like 90% of the way to a really good vise. Modifications I made were a huge help. - th-cam.com/video/jSmb9CGKl8E/w-d-xo.html
Would you mind sharing what kind of modifications made the vise better for you?! And that last 10%... Do you have any ideas as to what could bring it up to snuff?
Thank you for your feedback on the 7" Olsa Vise. We're glad to hear your modifications improved its performance. Could you share what specific changes or improvements you would suggest to make it even better?
