  • The Winnipeg Jets have many fun and exciting prospects, and that is the focus of todays video. Brad Lambert and Nikita Chibrikov are two of the NHL ready prospects heading into the upcoming season. Will either of them crack the opening night roster?

I think of Chibrikov as a skilled pest something definitely needed on the Jets roster. I think he would fit perfectly on the 3rd line with Lowry and Nino (move Appleton to 4th). Lambert is an NHL player right now period - don't see playing games with the Moose helping his development. I am torn on Barlow in that draft I really wanted the Jets to take the player that went right after him Oiver Moore. I think he has the potential to develop into a consistent middle six player but the Jets definitley have a lot of wingers that don't look like they are going anywhere soon. Braydenn Yager looks like he has a lot of skill but just needs to put it all together. I can see him developing into the 2C this team seems to be perpetually looking for. Lucius - I just hope this poor guy can finally catch some breaks on the injury front - with his injury history anything you get out of him at this point is a bonus and found money.

Honestly after you said Lowry and Nino. That would be the best 3 line.

The only thing that is going to keep Lambert back is his 82 games...
Once February+ happens finding the energy is so har for young player's.
After a couple seasons it will be beautiful.

Jets have a lot of guys 1-3 years away from very likely making an impact. Lambert I think has a legit shot to make the team this year and is my personal fav. Chibby is feisty and already at a level to contribute to an NHL PP. I'd love to see his 5v5 consistency take another step with the moose this year then make the jump in 2025. Salo I think needs some adjustment to the NA ice and space in the Moose, look for him to make the jump a bit past Christmas or so, depends on injuries. Yager seems like he might be a bit closer than I originally thought. could be a dark horse to make the jump in 2025, i'd love to see him with the moose along with Barlow but the CHL agreement sucks in scenarios like this.

After what I’ve seen in the tournament so far, I definitely think Salomonsson needs more time in the minors. He needs some work in decision making. A few guys I’ve been liking what I’m seeing from is Barlow, Lambert and Chibrikov. Definitely also some issues with the decision making, but that will come with time and experience.

Imagine if Lambo is like Wyatt and Chiby is Steankoven...

Ville as the sixth and Stanley as the 7th d? Don't get me wrong that's how I want it but I feel like the way they're obsessed with making big stan work they're gonna have stan as the sixth and ville the 7th

Rutger is now on a team that will be doing all they can to stay somewhat competitive as a maybe fringe playoff team just to keep sid geno tanger. Then after 3 years of being mid at best trading their future away to be decent now, THEN they will start the rebuild for about 3-4 years. Rutger isn’t winning squat for at least 7 years
