I feel you on isle of arrows. The RNG aspect is pretty annoying and I feel like forced it sometimes. I think it’d be cool er if it was more like a deck you built over time
Soldier main? That's impressive, from my gameplay experience, clearing with archers then gradually building up sniper blocks before pushing southwards is quite the only foolproof method. (The noise it produces is less than soldiers since you can kill with less shots, and south has a lot of specials) With enough oil, although unnecessary, you can buff engineering units to insane levels of hp. (Lucifer 5.5k, titan 4.8k, mutant 5k). For lazy mode, the moment ballista and shocking tower is unlocked, build double wall and build a lot of those then spam zed spawn, running type 400. Last but not least, you can actually improve wall and tower durability by using those excess resources. I managed to rush to 20k hp wooden tower. Probably a bit hard for horde to break through.
36:27 - just play Path of Exile man.. new league coming out in a month or so There's no game bigger or better than it, you can surely learn to like it, big brain such as yourself would love it, once you got into the hang of things. It's hard getting into PoE but... you have already tried it, I think you said... just try one more time and give it a few days of streaming :) EVEN IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT.... Someone will most likely share your streams onto the reddit, and you might get an influx of viewers. I'm sure there's some overlap in the playerbase that loves your type of regular content. It would be a very financially smart thing to try, imo.
When you don't have anywhere to place your army, create your own place off the land. :)

All my attempts are done live on my stream. the best or most interesting runs then makes it to this channel.
