Once I start it in the open position do I leave it open while I plow? Reason I ask is when I close it, the engine turns off. I should keep it open while in use right?
If you are talking about the choke? You put it into the on/closed position to start the engine and then you put it to the off/open position to run/blow snow the machine. Just like shown in the video.
When I put it in the run position, it starts to cough and then shuts off. I just bought the thing lol. Fresh oil, gas and still does it. Any recommendations?
Did you purchase it new and it had no gas in it? If yes, I'm surprised it does not run correctly. You can watch this video to help you repair it. th-cam.com/video/VISBGygWdhw/w-d-xo.html. OR watch this video th-cam.com/video/O6-LXGAIEig/w-d-xo.html. so you can use it while there is snow to get rid of then repair it in the off season.
I used mine the first time this week, it didnt shoot the snow very far at all. I have a 3 car driveway and it didnt even clear the other side..any suggestions?
Shoot, yesterday I mowed the leaves in my yard and you're starting snow blowers LOL great video Mr. Johnson.
We received about 1.5” of snow last Thursday. I think it was the most we have seen in two years. It covered the leaves that I still need to mulch up. Need to dry out first me to finish up the leaves. Thanks for sharing:)
@@JohnsonsSmallEngines I had rain Thursday, but I mowed anyway because it was going to get cold here. In the 30's
