Thank you for doing this video! Very easy to follow and I appreciate the clarity. I have struggled with navigation devices but between DMD2 and your explanation it has become about a million times easier. Nicely done!
Quick Tip: You can use both the ROUTE and the Line Tool if you are going to use the file with DMD2. DMD2 does not use GPX with routes for calculation so if you use routes on the website editor they will be loaded EXACTLY as they were on the website and they will not be recalculated!
Hi. it would be more useful if the line of the track were represented the same, both in the GPX editor and DMD2 software. In this case I see a different representation of the track's lines from what I see in the GPx editor and what I see on the tablet. pity..
So you cant do it on your device on dmd2? So Gaia snaps into position a lot quicker and can do on your phone or device. In the app. So if you make changes or need rondo a different route on the trip you can. I thought you could do it on your device with dmd2. Bugger.
If you have the setting set to "Road fast all , Original" you can use the first method you showed with more effect..... then you dont have to sit there forever doing 7 million way points
Thanks for the upload, nicely done. My follow up question is if you're riding a new track, can it save the ride so you can do it again or share with others?
@@BikerBits I've been using Locus Pro 3 for years, still works well. Reason why apps become shite is because greedy app developers take away functions from the once off paid version and add them to the Paywall version.
Thank you for that Mark. A nice straight forward explaination and demonstration something I have been looking for.
Bloody brilliant mate. Thank you for simplifying this dark magic for me. Awesome stuff. 🤘🖖

Yes you record the ride and save it and share it! You can also follow a recorded track and record it as well.
thats awesome
Mark do you no were a warewolf lives?
Beauti.
Shit that was quick thanks Mark
My pleasure mate! 👍
But a GPX file doesn't actually navigate and follow you, it just shows the map?
Shame DMD2 is behind a paywall, at least Locus Pro 3 is a once off $10~.
One off payment apps end up shit! I've seen this happen and have talked about it many timnes!
