Ugh i love Dizzy so much and I'm so so grateful we finally have her in Strive. There's just this really common thing you go through with Strive DLCs as a fan of unique/technical characters when ❤youre like hell yes i cannot wait to see their updated kit, only for them to be like the most one dimensional and head scratchingly average character on release. Happened with Testament and Bedman. Only exception was ABA and it was so beautiful to behold, I still get chills thinking about watching her reveal for the first time. Her unreasonable serve of a splash art with those iconic hypnotizingly eerie eyes and the hardest DLC theme of all time while keeping 90% of the personality and bs kit she had in ACR, you just had to be there... Testament and Bedman are now both at the tomfoolery I expected at launch, so I know in due time Dizzy will flex that literal Queen status, it just never fails to pain me initially. It's 4 years into the game now, please let these setplay monsters return in full glory. The silver lining is this hopefully means Venom will be a high skill ceiling technical as it's clear Dizzy was intended to be the first beginner friendly technical in Strive. Also, I am begging, Zappa S5 and PLEASE maintain all the completely out of pocket horror weirdness. Do not look me in the face and tell me this art and dev team can't do redesigned dripped out cvnty possesed man that dashes towards you exorcist style.
@ yes I get that it’s the relative sense in which I’m referring too. It just kinda makes me sad some characters can have weaknesses that are so obscured by their kit and others can have some that feel so overwhelming. Like Goldlewis, I could entirely forget he doesn’t have an air dash because his JD, alongside what I believe is a lower jump arch, seems to make up for it and works to his benefit more often than not
