Been living in San Antonio de Periera for 4months very quiet & friendly. Love being out of the city traffic & visiting the little pueblos around, El Carmen,La Ceja & the malls in Llanogrande & St. Nicholas 👍🇨🇴

Looks like a great place, low key and quiet. I wouldn't even bother grocery shopping, just eat out every day. Except for beer and bottled water of course.

It is at the top of our list for possible retirement spots...we love cool weather y hablamos Español. Don’t tell anyone else about it...let’s keep it our little secret !

Thanks for your comment. We would love to. Maybe after the quarantine has been lifted we get another chance to visit Rio Negro.

Wow, what a beautiful town. I really like El Retiro and La Ceja. Next trip I'll have to check out Rio Negro.

Wow. That's awesome. I like the fact that you can actually live in a house there. I looked for houses in Medellin but didn't seem to find any at a reasonable price.

I honestly never knew anything was there. Flew into the airport many, many times and immediately took a taxi to Medellin. Will make sure to stop here next time.

How’s the transportation situation there? Can I use in-driver or get a cab easily?

I live in El Carmen and Rionegro is the closest big place to go to on a weekend. Seems a bit too touristic in comparison to El Carmen but it has Centro Comercial San Nicolas where you can find absolutely everything from food to TVs.

I know you probably don't want to talk about the ladies because of Natasha and all. But that's a really big selling point for foreigners.

How about safety?? Medellin has a lot of criminals.. How about Rio Negro? Is the police force adequate or just a criminal in uniform?
