I bought an Lenco L75 all original. Had to order new V-blocks for the tonearm as the old ones were completly gone and broken into pieces. Then ordered a new idlerwheel with a silicon ring, and gave the motor, the center pin that holds the platter and other moving parts new grease designed for bearings. Will work like new when I'm done with the record player.
Hi, that noise has to be that the chainring is rubbing somewhere or the wheel spring has too much tension, but try placing a rubber band between the axle and the chainring and tell me if it makes a noise, good luck.
These turntables are very good and you can get an o ring these turntables are meant to have slow start ups to get up to speed you can use rubber renew if needed or just buy o rings
Hi. Noise isn't the problem with mine but it slips when I set it to 33 rpm setting. At other speeds its fine but for LPs speed setting it slips so badly that it slows down! Any ideas why?
