I completely agree, so many times I’ve asked the person what they believe Islam to be. I listen. Then explain to them if Islam is how they believe it to be then I’m not for it. However, I let them know what it actually is. Most often, once they’ve understood the beauty their opinions change a lot.

In my days at uni I knew a muslim sister who was religious and her brother was the opposite. One day he opened his mouth up about Islam. I was in no mood to dispell him of his misunderstanding. I just got in his face and asked him if he wanted his legs broken now or after lunch. He took back what he said.

You come at my family for being Muslim and try to kill them, even during the holy months of Islam or on the Holy land of Mecca.... *I will send you to the cemetery.*
      Peace.

Well said brother however Aisha wasnt 6 when the Prophet PBUH married her We come to this conclusion because this hadith contradicts the Quran. Any hadith which contradicts the Quran is false. The Quran sits in judgement of the hadith not the other way round. The Quran verse which Aisha's age contradicts is:
“And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphans, then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four.” Quran 4:3
Marry a woman it says not a child! Aisha was, according to this hadith, a child not a woman at the age of 9 no girl is a woman ready for marriage at the age of 9. The prophet PBUH was a walking talking Quran. So, he wouldn’t do anything that contradicts it. As he doesn’t speak (nor acts out) from his own desires.
“He (Muhammed PBUH) doesn’t speak from his own whims” Quran 53:3
We can also use the hadith to reach the same conclusion by speculating Aisha's elders sister Asmah's age and the hijrah period. The hijra as well because it was around this period when she was promised to the prophet PBUH. According to Imam ibn Kathir and the majority of Islamic scholars, Aisha’s older sister Asmah was 10 years older than her, Asmah had died at 73 years after hijra (AH), at the age of 100. If Asmah had died at 73 AH and was a 100, she
was therefore 27 when the prophet PBUH had made the hijra. So, if Asmah was 10 years older than Aisha, this therefore makes Aisha 17 when the hijra had taken place. Aisha was promised to the prophet (PBUH) a year or 2 before hijra meaning she was probably around 15/16 roughly. So, a few years down the line after when the marriage was consummated, she was roughly around 18-20.
People in those days and many remote cultures today didn’t/ don’t really care much about people's birthdays. The reason to why this is due to the fact people were mainly focused on what you did in life and when u died. Not when you were born.
Lest we forget the prophet Muhammed PBUH reigned over the lands of Arabia and could’ve had over 1000 wives who were pre-pubesent girls as well as women, if he wanted. Yet he didn’t marry any other little girl like Aisha (RA) supposedly was.
Thank you for taking time out and reading. Peace be upon you.

You can't just say she wasn't when She said she was 9 herself radiAllahu anha, you can say she was probably off MAYBE because they didn't have calendars but it's still not strange considering, people would marry that young back in the day even go to war that young, I don't think we need to psychoanalyze what Aisha radiAllahu anha said, so considering the time, it's not that deep

@@aishax01 that hadith contradicts the Quran sister, every time the Quran talks of marriage and sexual relations it always uses the word "nisa" meaning women. Prophet Mohammed pbuh was the walking talking Quran and would never do anything that contradicts it.

@@osman7240 Aisha radiAllahu anha said herself she was a woman, I'm not really worried about the number because it was commonly understood that 9 wasn't a child back then, for example, it is understood by the early jews/church fathers that Mariam alaya salam birthed Isa when she was around 10 to 12 and she married Joseph during this time as well who was 90 at the time, all of this isn't that farfetched either, just 2 generations before me, in my community, 13 year olds weren't considered children so imagine 1000 + years ago

    Narrated `Aisha:
that the Prophet (ﷺ) married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old. Hisham said: I have been informed that `Aisha remained with the Prophet (ﷺ) for nine years (i.e. till his death).

Islamically any person can Consumate the marraige as soon as they have attained Puberty!!
Aishah said: When a girl reaches the age of nine years, she is a woman.
      ~Sunan at-Tirmidhi (2/409).
      She herself said it!!
So from next time please spend some time on research before being an Islamophobe.

Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, said, “No one had better character than the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. No one from his companions or his family called upon him but that he would say: I am at your service. For this reason, Allah Almighty revealed the verse: Verily, you are upon great moral character.” (68:4)

history tells us that people's lives were not calculated by time in the ancient time , but by a person's talent. go learn.
