From my experience. 90% of people who do this are just doing this to get me mad. Being trolls

Happens on eBay all the time. The dreamer will want more pictures or ask if can I lower my price. Then I’ll do it and the person will vanish. I don’t sell on any other sites and I don’t want anybody coming to my door. The violence is scary. I’m in Adelanto. So…
I think they’re trying to decide if they want it or not, so they think by communicating back and forth they are, in a sense, “holding it.”
I’ve had this lady message me all week for a damn bear I’m selling. Like lady do you want it or not?! I don’t have time to read and respond all week to your excuses!
I’ve sold over 1,000 items on fb and offer up . My advice to you Gil is just be patient many buyers out there are just too window shopping , you will eventually find the right buyer . Keep up uploading videos on TH-cam !

If one low balls you of your price and claim they find a better deal, then why do they even bother with you selling something. In the first place.... the best for one to know what to buy and when is gathering all your options first before responding to one selling.. it will help to know exactly whether that's the item you will buy or not..

I sell on marketplace and this happens to me all the time it’s very annoying
Ask the buyer to meet you at the nearest gas station and when they get there to give you hollar!

These people waste time "negotiating" something that they know from the beginning they won't buy, my God. Therapy needs to be publicized.

Everyone's broke I'm tellin ya everyone's broke they want to lowball and resell or just capitalize on the buyer's market because the economy is weak and people are desperate to get cash.
they are shy or it takes work so they say forget it

people have become very non-committal. The same goes for agreeing to come to a party and then cancelling at the last minute.
I had someone ask me to deliver a fridge to them in San Bernardino and I drove from Redlands. When I got there they said nevermind lol. Never again will I ever be nice and "deliver" even with a fee. Also if possible don't do meetups at your home. If something goes wrong with the item they may come to your home and harass you or even stuff more serious. I too can't stand when people say "is this available" then never hear a thing back.
When people try to low ball I just reply with are you sure you don’t want it for free?
